Xbox 360 Troubleshooting?

Okay, I was playing GoW1 today and something weird happened. While I was playing, multi-colored lines, polygons and constant flickering were appearing on myscreen. I think that it's just a one time thing, so I turn my Xbox off. I turn it back on and load up GoW1. I join a match and I continues to do the samething. I take out GoW1 and put in GoW2 to see if its the Xbox or the disc. I load it up and just to a horde match. It continues to do the same thing. I take itout and figure that the 360 is too hot and I just let it cool down for about 3-4 hours. I come back too it and its gotten progressively worse. Now theflickering is at the 360 Dashboard. Does anyone have any similar problems that went on with there Xbox? Do I have to send it in? Any help will be apperciated.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that, I tried to switch T.V.'s also but I'm pretty sure it's the box.

I had that problem before. It is more than likely that it is the video card. It should show an error code soon. E74 i think. I still had mine under warrantythrough bestbuy so they just fixed it. i dont know if it is covered under microsoft for you

I still have a warranty though Microsoft, so I guess I'll send it to them when that code shows up.

Hopefully MS can fix it.

Oh ok, I've heard of this before. The best thing u can do is go out to your nearest Walm*Mart Supercenter, find an employee in electronics and politey sayto him/her

"Sir/Ma'am, I wish to acquire a PS3 through purchase. I would be much obliged if u could assist me with this task"

Don't forget to add "Cherio" afterwards

Its showing signs that you are going to get the red rings soon. Just send it to microsoft and tell them you have 3 red rings. They will fix it for free

Good news, I just registered my Xbox and it said my warranty was expired. Thanks for the info.
