Xbox 360, wifi leech question.

I know, I know...

at me and my family. may we die and burn in hell forleeching wifi.

I'm going home for the upcoming break, and ever since I moved to college, my dad cancelled comcast and he just leeches someone elses wifi (5 barconnection, must be homeboy next door.)

Anyway, obviously I can't connect my xbox unless I have a wireless adapter, but I don't want to buy it.

Is there any way to connect to LIVE without using an adapter? Can I just plug in my old router and connect it with an ethernet?
