Moved into a new spot and got the x1 cable tv service from Comcast. The HD looks bad/shaky/blurry. What gives?

I have Xfinity internet and it is trash, I need to move somewhere where I can get a better ISP

No issues with them in NoVa. They raised my rates without telling me, but it was my fault for not paying attention to the fine print. I had started with a teaser rate, didn't notice the asterisk.

I will support nothing comcast related for the rest of my life. don't care about their rebranding efforts and trying to pass themselves off as xfinitiy.

horrible customer service.

Might be your TV or fault box/wires

I'd call them up

And agree with above, worst customer service ever but the services they provide the tv and internet are top notch but expensive as hell

I'm sure you already checked, but have you tested out the HDMI cable with another to see if that's causing the issue? Or maybe the resolution settings?

I don't think I could go back to Comcast after Verizon Fios. This internet is awesome lol.

I had an issue with mine for the longest time where my X1 box would cut out audio to my TV. I tried hard resets, new HDMI cables, and I eventually cut my cable altogether after they jacked my rate up. I hate Comcast with a passion.

X1 boxes are slow and laggy. HD takes a dump at times too, especially when streaming with their Netflix app.

I actually get great customer service from their tech people and everyone I've dealt with thus far. Rates are crazy but getting 100 Mbps, internet cable router with wifi, 2 X1 boxes for $130 all in isn't that bad I guess.

Anyways, got the tech coming out tomorrow to look into it. I've tried switching everything and the HD still looks very mediocre and not to the usual HD standard.

If it doesn't work I'll try getting the old box and testing that out I guess.

how many channels do you have and location? sounds pretty cheap but I assume you're under the new customer 2 year contract deals. after that your prices gonna go UP!

I'm in a similar situation. Just moved into a spot where I'm required to have Comcast. After dealing with their HORRIBLE CS and getting everything set up I feel like my picture could be better on regular HD channels like ESPN.

I am on a brand new Samsung KS8000 so the TV shouldn't be the problem.

Internet is sus at times too but overall its been ok. Not the Fios I'm coming from though

I feel like Xfinity/Comcast is going to get a class action suit down the line, so many people I know are complaining about their rates and customer service. That's why I have fios, set price for 2 years and the quality is much better on the HD and internet speed.

they've been doing this for YEARS

til October 2016 my family has been with Comcast before they were even named Comcast :lol

we had enough. we never had complaints, we didn't have the highest package but we had everything we needed, 85% of the channels they offer, 50 or 75mpbs internet and phone service and our bill was :x :x and only going $10-20 up every single January.

they keep coming to my house on a weekly basis asking us to come back, I actually would at the current 2 year rate but Direct TV aint gonna let us out for free.

side note. **** direct tv, they promised us a $200 gift card for switching. still never got it and claimed we weren't eligible and that didn't even exist at the time we signed up for the service :rollin
