XX3 cardboard inserts

Did all XX3s that came with cardboard inserts have light brown ones that stick out the top of the shoe, or did any have the regular cardboard inserts that area cardboard colored brown and arent visible while in the shoe because they are actually in it and pushed out to the toe?

my black stealths and all-stars came with the inserts that stuck out from the top of the shoe. my white stealths and motorsports came with the regular inserts.

Alright, I just bought some white stealths and they had the normal inserts but I had seen the black ones with the tall inserts, so I was a little scaredalthough everything else seemed legit.
