Just watched Predators and the Yazuka dude was easily my favorite, and got me interested in movies about the Yakuza well not really about it but involves them....don't say Tokyo Drift lol

any recommendations?

Yojimbo looks like something I'll love, gonna check out the yakuza papers too. but are there any modern movies?

Jackie Chan starred in this film called Shinjuku Incident, which deals with the Yakuza. Another Jackie Chan movie involving asian gangs is New Police Story, which was pretty good too

Later on he reinvented the horror genre in Japan while keeping his yakuza genre ties in gozu, crows zero, zebraman, ichi the killer and izo. It is speculated his earlier films dealt with the yakuza so much because of his films laundering money through production for them.
