Man thanks so much, alot of jerks on here not willing to explain or even respond to the thread! Thanks again! Here are a few signs why the Red Octobers you have are fake that'll help you more than just saying they are fake.
1. The grey suede on the medial side, the suede is thinner and the triangles are cut too perfect/very sharp corners compared to the authentic.
2. The grey suede doesn't have much of a texture, it looks more like felt. Authentic pair is thick and has texture which you can tell of bat it is higher quality suede.
3. The red insole is WAY too detailed. Authentic pairs have somewhat of a faded detail.
4. The scales are a dead give away why they are fake. Each scale is suppose to pop out like the scales of a fish. Your pair is just flat.
Your pictures doesn't provide it but unscrew the lace tips of the shoe lace. Real ones have the tip of the shoe lace sticking out further than the screw-on part. If it doesn't stick out a little like atleast 1/8 of an inch, than the shoes are fake. Hope this helps you out.
