I just got my Mauves in today but I purchased from Adidas.com so I know they're good but I copped my Wave Runners from a seller on Ebay. Looking at both shoes, some things seems a little off to me in comparison. Maybe because the Mauves are made in China and the Wave Runners are made in India because stitching and materials wise, the shoe looks great. Nothing seemed off that I noticed initially purchasing the shoe but putting them next to the Mauves I'm just curious on some things
1.) On my Wave Runners, I noticed the hang tags. I have the square Adidas style tag instead of a rectangle one which came on the Mauves
2.) The size/info sticker on the box is different. I also noticed the lettering isn't as "clean" as on the Mauve box. The lettering on the Wave Runner box have more of a glossy ink as the Mauves have more of a matte/ flat black ink
3.) the sole on the mauves is slightly more chunkier than on the wave runners
I hope I didn't get ripped off, I hate fakes!!! I rather ask the community to make sure these shoes are legit. Rather be safe than sorry, thanks in advance to all those that help. I appreciate it.
