You guys remember this? Inside Jordan Brand...

Wow great find, I remember watching this when I was in high school

Most ppl who frequent the JB forum are part of the "yolo swag sneakerhead camper" group so I'm sure they haven't seen this

I remember this show, but never saw this episode.

Thanks for sharing..

Same here, things were just different back then.  I wasn't collecting/buying serious back then because I was still in highschool and couldn't afford it.  Just look at all the history being dropped in this video, big ups to Cool Bob.

:smokin
Jim Jones been faking it in the sneaker scene forever :lol

Good post. I remember this show, wasn't many episodes. In regards to Jim Jones I used to think the same way about him but don't let the way he talks fool you, he actually does know more than most "oh its cool to collect shoes now? I'm a shoe head too" celebrity shoe heads.

From a sneaker standpoint, I honestly can't respect Bobbito Garcia.

^^^^Foamposite please elaborate on that, because that man really knows his $#% when it comes to kicks.

Because he's a sneaker elitist. He wrote a book about sneakers and it all it was were praises for shoes that were made in the mid 80s and under, and any shoe made before that are inferior. To him, any shoe that's not a AF1, Adidas Superstar, Blazer, Dunk, etc. are evil. I also believe it was common knowledge that he HATES Jordans, too.

Yea he didnt seem too thrilled when he got the DMP pack. I would of bugged out.

I hear yall..I'm actually a fan of Bobbito just off the strength of his 90s hip hip radio show with Strecth Armstrong. They played/debuted a lot real classic hip hop during the golden years.

Writing a book about shoes from a certain time period doesn't make him an elitist it just shows he's knowledgeable and passionate about that time period of footwear. I think you have him figured out incorrectly. He definitely loves late 70's early 80's shoes but if you know anything about him you would know that one of his favorite shoes of all time are the Reebok Question 1 mid ( a shoe that dropped in the 90's). Also, he definitely doesn't hate Jordan's

to add to one of the comments, the DMP's were not that great of a release and he probably didn't bug out because he was hosting a tv show lol. The box was nice, the shoes looked visually nice, but as far as wearability goes they were uncomfortable and poorly made. That pack was the beginning of the Jordan XI going down hill in terms of wearability. I doubled up on release date and was so disappointed by the quality I sold them both off. At the time I still had all my 2000-2001 retro's and an OG pair of Columbia blue XI's and was shocked that the XI had changed so much for 2006.

As far as how he is on a personal level, i couldn't tell you. He was at the FOTB event back in 2003 but I never had the opportunity to speak with him
