Week 17 is coming up, and I figure we can discuss who we feel is our teams Offensive, Defensive, and Special Teams MVP of the 2010-11 season, and a brief reasoning why.

Jets
Offensive: Mark Sanchez (Despite some questionable playcalling and execution, Mark has made great throws to win/set-up wins late in games. Just this past Sunday, he played well enough against the Bears to get the W, but that's a different story.)
Defensive: Sione Pouha (Has played exceptionally well yet again in the absence of Kris Jenkins.)
Special Teams: Brad Smith (I wanted to give it to Steve Weatherford (Punter), but Brads ability to return kicks, punts, make tackles, etc is unmatched.)

O - Aaron Rodgers... Distant second place is Greg Jennings/Josh Sitton
D - Clay Matthews... Followed by Tramon Williams/Charles Woodson/Des Bishop
ST - Jarett Bush... ST is the only place this guy belongs on a football field.

Cowboys:

Offensive: Jason Witten (Runner up: Dez Bryant)
The only real constant in a disappointing season.

Least valuable: the offensive line (Roy Williams)

Defensive: DeMarcus Ware (Gerald Sensabaugh)
Same explanation, really.

Least valuable: the secondary (Keith Brooking)

Special Teams: Bryan McCann (Bryant)
Burst onto the scene and immediately began changing field position with his returns. He was a huge part of why the team started playing well about two months ago.

Least valuable: David Buehler (Buehler)

Miami

O
Devone Bess.  Most consistent, produces more then anyone based off his talent/stature.  He and Marsh combined this year as the most prolific pass catching duo in our history.  His numbers aren't that far off from Brandon's, however Marshall did miss 2 games.

D
Cam Wake, monster season from this guy.  Leads league in sacks going into last game and could have almost 20 if he had an extra second here and there on some plays.
Honorable mention to Vontae Davis

ST
Tie between Dan Carpenter and Brandon Fields.  Our kicker/punter combo has to be the best in the NFL.  Carp had a terrible game vs Buffalo two weeks ago with 4 misses, from 48, 48, 54, and 61.

Brandon had a 500 yard punting day 3 weeks ago.

Sucks he's punting, but if you're gonna punt, kicking it 65 yards works out ok for us.
