Not my pics, but I copped four pairs last year...

One of my ultimate childhood grails, right here!!! The pair I copped aren't in my size though, so if anyone has em in a size 12, 12.5, or 13, PLEASE HIT ME UP!!! You can call em takedown trash, or whatever. I gives zero *****, what y'all think!!! Nike, if y'all jus retro this colorway, completely true to the OG's, I'd be super satisfied!!!

On the real, if Nike ever retros these, I'm copping 8 to 10 pairs, and they're going STRAIGHT TO MY FEET!!!

There’s so many older Nikes I wanted in high school I couldn’t afford that I want now. Kinda the reason I got back into the shoe game after not buying for so long. Always thought these hyperflights looked cool, how much were they?

My favorite period was from like 96-02. For so long I’ve admired all shoes posted from that time frame from afar. That’s until I went to college. That’s when I went nuclear on purchasing shoes

I used to have LE edition of Cross Trainer that’s similar to your sig’s although the one I had were using mostly nubuck and the shade of brown were lighter than your sig’s. Wouldn’t mind seeing those LEs or even older Escape models to be retroed.

I had those in December '95. Got them after I had to return my Concords after I played in them one time and someone stepped on my foot and ripped a chunk of the midsole off. To be honest, I didn't even really like the colorway and still don't. Super plain, too much white with no contrast LOL. I played in those for maybe a month and the heel outsole on one shoe peeled off of the max airbag (a common problem with a lot of Nikes back then in my experience). I don't even remember what I exchanged them for. I might've just got a refund and bought something else later.

I had a pair of those Movin' Uptempos. Bought them summer of '97, it must've been. I had the black and white pair, no blue, no translucent outsole. I wanted the black/red Pippen 1s SO bad, and I remember trying to talk myself into dropping the $160 on them that summer when I was home from college. But being a relatively poor college student, and with that price point so beyond anything until then, pretty much, I just couldn't get over the guilt of buying them, so I didn't. Wish I had now, because in reality it would've pretty much made no difference to my life. Instead, I colored the white toe swoosh of my Movins red with a sharpie to give it a little bit of Bulls flavor
I think my two biggest regrets in terms of shoes I didn't buy back then were the Pips and the OG black/red XI lows (what we now call IEs). At least I can get the IEs in September, and you know I'm loading up. I bought two pairs of the Pip retros in '08. Sold one DS pair six years ago, still have the other pair. But honestly they suck and feel like bricks, so they've mostly sat in my closet all these years. I should've bought the 2015 retro, I have heard people say they were more comfortable. Hoping Nike does them again in a year or two since it's been almost six years now since they last released.

I love em. Nike has never retried the colorway with the blue and I wish they would. I have the white with silver. It's ready to deteriorate. They did the 2018 retro, but no blue. Just waiting.

Agree with a lot of these! Don’t understand how swifts and the of all black, white midsole uptempos have never gotten a retro.
