In no order:

The Shield - great show that helped change the game for police/crime dramas. We saw how law enforcement works from the perspective of "crooked" cops in the sense that they weren't doing things by the book but their intentions were good and they wanted to put criminals behind bars. Also incredible guest performances by Glenn Close and Forest Whitaker. The series finale is one of my favorites.

The Wire - same as The Shield in that it changed the game for police shows and set the bar so high that no other police drama will ever come close IMO. You saw the different perspectives of the cops, the politicians, and those from the streets, which is something most police shows tend to ignore.

Breaking Bad - Probably the best overall show I've seen. It includes incredible cinematography that Oscar-winning movies would approve of, an interesting storyline that builds upon itself every year, and great acting/characters. When the show started out, they made you think it would just be a show like Weeds or Dexter, where the main character lives a secret life but it has turned into something much deeper, almost like a psychology experiment/display. I don't think any show captures emotions and the characters' mentalities better than this one. Great replay value because there are so many things you'll catch for the first time when you rewatch an episode.

Lost - Changed the game for network TV. The concept was so original and the mythology just kept you wanting more and more. Similar to BB, the storyline evolved every year. At first you thought this was some Lord of the Flies meets Castaway and then it turned into something much deeper. Great replay value...so many easter eggs in the episodes. The way they made those mindblowing character flashbacks was so mindblowing

Chappelle's Show - So many great skits, so many quotables, just a classic
