Z71 Chevrolet Tahoe....Anybody Own One?

Still looking to cop a new whip, well not new, but used. Lookin at 2004 models.....I know that engine is bulletproof on these things.

3 or 4 of my friends got them, they are comfortable and look nice but gas mileage is awful, if gas mileage doesn't matter then I would go ahead and get itespecially if it's at a good price

I made it from San Antonio to Houston and only used half a tank?
That's how much I use in my Honda if not less.
But their mad comfortable and smooth I got a 04 and these things are beastly!

Gas out here is like 2.61 and I fill it up with $50 do the math

I just know from what they've said that with in town commuting, going to school, etc. not highway driving they aren't getting good gas mileage at all

my mother had a '03 yukon, the transmission went out around 85xxx miles. it was still under factory warranty the local dealer swapped it out for free, butshe did pay $500 to get a 100,000 mile warranty on it other wise it was only a 12 month 12000 mile. it was a good truck besides the trannsmission.

I had 92k miles on it, and I put it on CL for $12500...ended up getting $12000....the ONLY person who inquired about the car ended up buying it. I reallylucked out.

I have nothing but good things to say about it. The car was beyond durable, and I had no issues with it.

don't have a Z71, but I own a '01 Yukon Denali....OG owner, only 75K miles.  Never had any major engine issues except that the throttle body gets dirty very easily which can lead to stalls....but as long as you clean it every year, it should be fine.  These types of cars do have a history of fuel pumps failing prematurely, but if you keep the gas tank at least 1/4 full, it shouldn't be a problem.

What type of info are you looking for??
