Sounds like doode defaulted on some loans/margin called/filed for bankruptcy and now has a lien on his collateral (warehouse? home? etc?). If you look up the police log, it says "Disposition: Gone On Arrival" - it sounds like the cops were there to escort/protect him.

I think you guys are missing the bigger point here; you guys are taking this news as evidence that his supply are fakes. Following this thought, the bigger problem now is - what does that say about his pairs getting authenticated on StockX and GOAT?

They create this product scarcity BS and build hype with limited drops. They’re territorial against any player capitalizing off their game. I’m not sure the ins and outs of the Kobe situation but you know there was hella shenanigans there also.

I’m in that fence also. They allowed this to happen (even with high level employees and their family members) and to a certain extent have let StockX and Footlocker backed GOAT control the market. IMO (not facts or anything - just my worthless opinion) as they are looking to go to a more consumer direct model with rumors of a self service resale (like Ticketmaster, flashseats, etc) they are trying to cut off the other players.

We’ll see. But I hope this thread stays alive and doesn’t get locked. Interested to see how this plays out.

We havent even established he isnt legit, i have sold many pairs ive gotten from him on flightclub and goat without a problem, somehow he got caught up with this scheme but his authenticity of the product shouldnt be in question. Of course people gonna try to get their money back when they have pre orders out that arent going to get them. What the hell you want them to do?
