Zadehkicks pre orders

If y’all think this is rough go take a look at the people who decided a couple years back that buying luxury watches was a viable money making business  …Talk about cracks starting to show…These fools bought pieces at full aftermarket price under the delusion that they’d only ever increase in value…Now some of them are going to be out millions of dollars because the bubble is bursting…

Hate to say you told me so, but……

In all reality, some of y’all were right, but everything was good until it wasn’t, and here we are.

Says a lot about some of y’alls character when you kick a man when he’s down. It’s all good tho.

I don’t see how any of this equates to fakes tho.

I find it wild that y’all refuse to accept the truth; man’s was selling fakes and getting over on his customers for years. Miss me with that “where’s the proof?” nonsense. The proof is right in front of you.

Please explain how the shoes he sold could be legit?

A lot of y’all are equating passing ScottX/GOAT as being legit.

The two are not the same.

There are levels to fakes.

The getting shoes 6 months to a year later, and “no refunds; store credit only” are just the icing.

I understand wanting things to be one way, but it’s the other way.

Hopefully people learn their lesson, but the game is the game…

U been watching the wire lately lmao

We kind of already see things starting to take a turn for these aftermarket places…Nike hitting StockX for moving fakes for example…This stuff is the tip of the iceberg and it’s the only just now starting to get the type of eyes on it that people are realizing that this whole thing is messed up and has been for a long time…When well established resellers are coming out publicly saying they’ve moved fakes through all the aftermarket spot then you start to see how deep it really is…This stuff with Zadeh is just pushing things more in the public eye…

We’ve all looked at the videos of homegirl doing the 12 second legit check on a pair of sneakers that haven’t even publicly released yet right? That’s videos that are put out to show that legit checks are happening…Again it’s seconds long legit checks on unreleased shoes…Think about that for a second…Now imagine how other “authenticators” that aren’t getting recorded for social media treat the authentication process…There’s no logical reason to think that high quality fakes aren’t getting through the process…

But back in Zadeh…

He was feeding resellers stock in the hundreds of thousands of dollars range…My original point is where did Zadeh get stock in those numbers? Stock on limited run hyped up sneakers at that…That’s not even including the guy who did a preorder on two or three pairs either, and I’m sure there was a ton of these type of people as well…

The argument that he was 100% buying out of the back door and via aftermarket platforms doesn’t hold water to me…No doubt he was getting some stock from these spots but not all of it in the numbers he was moving…The sellers he was feeding absolutely moved their inventory through the usual suspects…Now we’re saying Zadeh turned around and rebought the same inventory he sold to those big money clients at an up-charge to himself? Yeah I’m not buying that at all…

If you think theres a grand conspiracy from between resellers, fakes, and authentication platforms I cant really speak to that. I can only speak to the things that I do know and thats from the perspective knowing people personally from both the legit checking world (on the software side) and resellers that ate off of zadeh the past 3 years. its just not that deep. i actually go into the patent bred situation with stockx if youre interested, i did it in that thread. but long story short it was known what was going on and while other platforms adjusted stockx didnt for some reason. but most importantly, the vast majority of fakes arent as good as people think they are. ive posted examples in various threads too. but maybe im just in a bubble and theres a bigger plot, i just dont see it

Zadeh always had echoes of marqueesole and air randy. I know most of his customers wasn't there for that, though. Wonder who'll be next.
I've seen Air Randy referred to a few times. That was before my time. Can I get some cliff notes?

The sneaker bubble is about to burst IMO…it got really bad once the pandemic started and stimulus checks/unemployment money started floating around and people were buying up everything. Now every mall has at LEAST one sneaker consignment store (at least in my area)…with crazy markups on shoes, cause people been spending with no worries. Things are starting to slow down, StockX going down, Nike pulling accounts from certain shops, resellers being exposed/cut off etc…this **** will go back to “normal” in the near future IMO

air randy was some dude based out of china/hk selling high quality fakes. this was before people realized fakes didnt have to look like dog sh*t. but when folks got there pairs and compared them to authentic pairs there were wild differences.

Mans was fulfilling multiple 1000+ orders to different resellers. The only way he could have done that without selling reps is if he was getting plugged directly from Phil Knight himself.

dude had a laundry list of complaints on reddit, twitter, and the better business bureau from what i could see none of it was ever about receiving fake shoes.

Is it that bad? I remember during the pandemic all those plain jane luxary watches were hard to come by AP, Patek and Richard Mille… you had to be on a waiting list to get one… and if you were lucky to get one the value skyrocketed because they was a shortage of those watches… Some jewelers were even offering to buy back their watches they sold to their customers…I couldn’t relate because I could never afford any of those watches lol… but was always curious just looking from the outside how the watch game was serious as far as resale value…
