I never owned the ‘16 pair, but it seems the mudguard on these are much softer than the 05 retros. Those almost seemed like a mesh.

Just got the spiridon from nike, but yeah I need a half size up, so I need to return these back to nike, also the mudguard isn't really soft for me, so that's why it kind of fit tight for with no flexibility in toe area unlike the vomero 5.

Unless you’ve got wide feet, I’d stay TTS on these. My pair from 2005 were tight but they broke in nicely. These materials have some give. Can’t wait till summer so I can wear my new pair that just touched down

I can’t stop wearing these. I’ve worn the Fragment Spiridons everyday for the past week.
They’re so easy to wear with anything and so damn comfortable.
