ZOOM SPIRIDONS SUMMER 2016

Anyone had an issue with these destroying your heels when wearing no-show socks?   Wore the white/silvers for the first time today, and after less than 2 hours my heel was bleeding.

Got em boxed up and ready to return to NDC asap.  Damn shame b/c they're mad comfy other than that.

Wear different socks. That sounds like user error rather than the sneaker

I had that issue with other shoes, they just have to be broken in

Guess it's just me then.  Weird.

@ "user error".  Fam, I put on the same style of socks I wear with every sneaker I own.  Not about to switch up my sock steez for 1 sneaker.

I used to be all about doing whatever it took to make a shoe work, including taking out/adding insoles, thinner/thicker socks, etc.  Can't do it anymore, especially if they make me bleed my own blood.

Guess I'll just buy the Oly Talarias instead.

^ Plus the possibility of an additional 20% off via mailing list sign up too.

Still, not feeling that colorway enough to cop with that in mind.

Suited up with the Oly's today...Went with the NTDenim to keep it OG...

Pulled the Black / Gold's out with intentions on wearing those but opted not too...Oly's are just too clean...

Speaking of the Black / Gold's though...I'm kind of heated at Nike for taking those as close to the Opium's as they did, without actually going the full 100% that is...

Valid. Not just you. But I see many avoid even posting to avoid the stupid responses. (I mean, how can you "change socks" with a no-show look in 90 degree weather).

Size 11 and 11.5, same thing for me. Like women in certain sandals or high heels. So I found myself adjusting how I walked in these in the summer time.

Still a holy grail.

The high heels analogy is one i use pretty often b/c it's accurate. If a shoe isn't comfortable to me, it's gotta go. Even the ones I "think" I love, chased forever, etc. If I can't wear it, it's no good to me. If I'm on the fence about it, I may wear the shoe a few times to give it a break in period, but they usually sit in the closet for a while before I admit it and get rid of them.

Glad to see I wasn't wearing my socks wrong.  I guess the "old" heads are all on the same page with this issue.

I'm usually like gotty, in that I'll hang onto an uncomfortable shoe for awhile and lie to myself about wanting to wear them again, only to get rid of them later.

But bleeding = you gotta go now.

Pirate Black yeezy. Lasted one day. Had to move em. And I liked that shoe [emoji]128557[/emoji]

For me these days even mildly comfortable or decently comfy isnt enough to justify a buy or wear.
I need that excess comfort. My current rotation is ub, footscape flyknit magista, repeat.
I think the magistas are actually more comfy than the ubs now too, casually.

You should try the prestos if you haven't. But I agree Footscape Magista is a very comfortable sneaker.

Last example for me was the Flu Game XII. Hadn't bought a more modern era Jordan in years, went through hell getting them and wore them twice out of love. Just a down right painful shoe to me.

Amen. Way too many great shoes to settle in terms of comfort.

Plus, I assume the foot goes thru shifts and changes over the years. I'm noticing that some models that I loved to wear as recently as 5 years ago aren't nearly as comfortable now.

The recent XIIs are a travesty. They are just an empty shell of it's former self. The last comfortable XII was the 03's. Even the 08 CdP was decent. But anything made past 08 are bricks.

Just copped the white pair off of bodega on sale, with 20% off total came to 106 shipped.  Any ideas on how to make sure the pods don't crack or break?

I love mine. Just too narrow for me. I didn't want to size up cause then it'll look like clown shoes on me

Wide feet boyz

@eyesofhazel @superblyTRIFE Hell no :lol I would've taken those off way before it got to that point. Sorry man.
