I don't understand all the hype on this release either. I think the back story of the game (scrimmage?) in Italy and breaking the backboard is cool, but the prices these are going for on the resale market is insane to me.

I have no issue with the quality of leather on my pair. First "remastered" pair I've copped and I'm impressed. These are so dope in person. Not sure why people hate them so much, but to each their own.

Not sure the Liberty ever sold out on FINL. I was able to add to cart Monday night, but didn't cop. Kept going back and forth about whether I wanted them. The pics posted on the last page really sold me. They're gorgeous!
