I don't know about the all star weekend stuff but will take your word for it. Maybe that's how it works. To be completely honest I buy maybe 2 pairs of sneakers a year and I am very picky unfortunately it seems the ones I like are ones which are in limited supply and have a lot of "hype"...

it will be minimal. In the UK our prices are higher for all adidas/nike sneakers with little price differentiation between colourways etc.

i don't know what the pricing is like in US but there is very little difference/ no difference in limited release  and general release versions of adidas/nike in the UK

If you look at my previous posts I said Adidas were copying the Jordan strategy and that it was lazy.

theres hasnt been just one colorway... These shoes aren't classic like OG Jordan nor will they ever be there is no value in making them exclusive with limited releases.

lol a pre-release on urban outfitters is all the evidence you are going to provide. And thats what I said its an old business model and not original, nor does it maximise profits. What are you bringing to this discussion?

True, but whats the gain from releasing small quantities of "hyped" shoes. They don't stand to make any profit from the resellers. The non-PK NMD are not going to sell out like this but they will be available in much larger quantities despite demand being less. It just doesn't make sense to me...

I dont think its smart. I dont think people buy adidas nmd because they are limited or for the hype. This is the first sneaker adidas has produced in years which is decent and can compete with Nike. Much larger releases would still sell out. If anything Adidas are copying the Jordan mould and...
