After playing in these for a while now, I prob wouldn't recommend them for hooping. They sacrificed too much comfort for durability, I thought they would break in but I've played with these twice a week for the past 2 months now and most nights I end up swapping out to my Stutter Steps because...
Someone ITT has already posted the picture, but KoC has an article on the Lakers colourway now

Got a strange reply from Nike support when I asked about XDR (and yes, they did reference Eastbay haha)
Looking at my launch list, it does not state whether this style will be equipped with the XDR outsole. The other 4 colors we currently have in this style, do not show as having this type of...
Black/univ.Gold looks great. Def gonna pick a pair of those up
Anyone know if they're gonna be XDR though? I know some Nike Support guy emailed someone in this thread and said all Venom's are XDR but I don't buy that.
I have a pair of Kobe 8's that I got Nike ID'd. I thought ordering an XDR outsole would help it last outdoors. 2 months of hooping later and the soles are smashed.
I learned from my mistakes and went and bought a cheap pair for Air Max Stutter Steps for $65, and the traction is much better for...
Agreed. Never tried on 9's so I can't comment on performance, but they look like trash. Tried way too hard to be different.
8's just look so.. aesthetically perfect
I kind of thought "meh, they're XDR" and forgot about them, then one day I was taking them off and noticed the wear and well yeah.
I took a look at the Venomenon's, not sure if I'll like them. No local stores stock them so I'd have to order online, and based on reviews they're a heavily watered...
My NikeID XDR 8's after 2 months of outdoor play.
I play around 3x per week on a tennis-court type surface as a guard.
"Xtra Durable Rubber"..
Sad thing is, these are the best feeling shoes I've ever put on. The weight, cushion, and it looks freakin awesome. Really wish they would create...
Yeah, I really love the shoe. I was even thinking of buying a few pairs for future use because I hate the look of the 9's. But at this point I really can't justify paying for NikeID + overseas shipping just to have the soles go out on me in a few months.
Anyone know where to get legit GC's/pythons?
Anyone know how these shoes are for outdoor play? Just burnt through some supposed "XDR" nikeID kobe8's and after that experience I don't think I'm going back to Nike for a while.
Now if only I could find some No Sleep's in my size
Any reason why my NikeID XDR outsoles look different from the GC outsoles?
I thought they were both meant to be XDR?
I play 2-3x a week on outdoor courts, and within 2 months I've worn out the pivot point on my iD "XDR" outsoles so badly that I can see the carbon fiber plate coming through now.
