Are you talking about the Bruce Lee joints releasing next week of the Kobe 9 lows in general? I think the 9 lows in general should be much more attainable than the Elites because the Elites were made in limited numbers intentionally. Most 9 lows should be wide GR like the Kobe 8s or greater. They only released the Elites first because the Lakers were pure garbage and Kobe got hurt again not making a playoff release the logical thing to do for that line. In hindsight it seems genius because the Elites were selling out with ease at $270 ($225 US) so when the lows drop people will be like "oh man it's so much cheaper and it doesn't have that whack collar!"

Hah - think local resellers charge a lot more because of the MSRP and tax difference.Frustrating thing is the margins that local resellers look for... I think I saw 450 for those black and yellow Kobe's on kijiji a few weeks ago? Same thing with the KD Florals - these things are sitting on facebook groups I'm on for 230-250.... people asking 400 for them here?
KDs were $170 CAD MSRP? After tax, that $192.10. Think the KDs were $130 - $140 USD MSRP? I seen them for as low as $280 on Kijiji, but ~$300 is the goring rate.
So, let's say they resell for $300 after lining up ~8 hours in the cold. Congratulations reseller, you made ~$13.50/hr. Or about $26 more ($20 more when the new min. wage kicks in) than if you worked 8 hours at a minimum wage job.
Think most of these 'resellers' with the ridiculous mark-ups are either people with no idea what people will pay or people that are salty they didn't get their size so they are to feel better about the time they spent.

Heads up for those checking out stores in Buffalo: there's a 'hip hop' store in Walden Galleria (not Street Game by HOH, it's on the other side of the mall - can't remember the name) that has an SB account. Saw some Snake Eyes and Pine SB Dunk Lows on the shelves for retail. Don't remember seeing SBs at that store few months back, so I think it's new?

Against All Odds. I was there before Christmas and they had the Brickhouse Lows and Bazooka Joe Highs. One of the staff told me they have had an SB account for a while but those were the first Dunks that they had received. Hopefully the current trend of Dunks starting to be more widely available on our side of the border continues and we start getting GR stuff too.

It seems like Nike SB is trying to make the brand slightly more accessible/mainstream. I remember way back, they were extremely picky about giving out accounts and it was a big deal if a shop was able to get one. Outside of Goodfoot and a small handful of other elite sneaker boutiques, you HAD to sell Skate hard goods to even be considered for an account. It seems they've softened on that a bit with Capsule getting an account and Livestock seeming to have one in some capacity as well. When I was in Champs on Yonge a few weeks back, they even had a Nike SB display at the front of the store. I was in a rush and it mostly looked like clothing, but still....

Im with @GMAS I remember only Goodfoot and Adrtift in Toronto having accounts, others in Canada had to be a skate stores. Livestock has had a account for a while mostly in VanCity. Nike has made it way more easier for stores to get a SB account like Capsule and also Champs sports, West 49, Zumiuz. Saw that Champs has some footwear and a wack load of the Basic SB clothing! I would like to see what happens with Nike SB Has the Hype come back around to SB's ? lol I dont remember they Hype this bad back in the day? Even for Tiff lows or other Goodness that GDFT had!

SB definitely had lots of hype way back...I think it really took off in the Fall of '05 when the Tiffs released, and continued through the Black box and Gold box eras. Even when the Gucci/RESN's dropped, I can remember a lot of hype around them. The sneaker scene is totally different today though so it's tough to judge, but I'd say SB isn't back to what it once was. I think a clear sign of that is that the prices on a lot of older releases (Silver, Pink box releases) have actually gone down and can be had for less now than they could 5 years ago.

Not sure if this is correct. I believe Livestock only had a 'SB account' in Vancouver during their pop-up shop. They never had one when I lived in Vancouver and haven't heard anything since I moved to TO. Think it's pretty unlikely they would ever get one - their TO store is right beside Adrift and their Gastown store is around the corner from Menu (another SB account) - maybe their W 4th will get an SB account - but I haven't heard anything.
But it's great to see more stores getting SBs -- back in the day in Vancouver, the only reliable place for SBs was Paul Boutique in Surrey (an hour outside of downtown Vancouver) and they regularly sold well over MSRP for high demand shoes (remember they wanted like ~$400 for WTDunks?). Underworld would do 'silent drops' and were very secretive. And there were a lot of SB accounts that came and went in Vancouver - like Goodfoot Vancouver and Circle. Menu is relatively new in Vancouver.
I was living in Vancouver during the initial SB hype and I would say the hype was just as bad/worse than the hype nowadays. There were fewer people trying to cop (information was a lot more scarce), but it supply was much shorter and you had very few online options. Also, the hype for SBs were mad in Asia - so the Hong Kong kids would force everyone to camp out.

Nothing much, I was there yesterday evening. They had a few lebron X low sprites, and a few multicolour flyknit racers on the back wall. Not sure on sizing since I only really looked at the 8-9 area.
Footlocker at Vaughan Mills did have Nike Tech Fleece pants in black. They received a shipment last Friday, grabbed the last 2 for myself and a friend. They said they were probably going to restock again in a week or two. Spoke to a guy working there and he said only this location and HOH are getting them for now. They also triple security tag them since they've had an issue of them going missing lately.

I can confirm multi color flyknit RACER for $110 at VM. However entire back wall only shows two size 9 and I bought one at 1pm.
Still see flyknit trainer for $130 in random sizes 12+.
