Man that can't be them. They look like a cross between some Iverson, XIV's, the hologram idea from the XIII's, and some Shaq's I just saw atTwal-Mart. Only thing that I liked about it was the insoles, lol.

WORD! Even if these were the best performance hoop shoe of all time, you can't come back with something like this, and if simplicity wassomething they were aiming for, at the very least come with a sick and extra ordinary colorway that would blow people's minds or at least be somewhatappealing at 1st glance, this white and black thing is just way too plain, there's nothing attractive about this shoe.Originally Posted by From Da South06

This is NOT a sustainability product. It's a step back in every respect and the lack of continuity in brand direction really shows itself here.

This is, or was, a performance product first and foremost - and you're asking people to wear WHITE SILK on their FEET.
In terms of technical innovation, the gussied up impax column is a total dud.
Marbled plastic? This is a dollar store version of luxury. It makes no sense. If the silk, which was an atrocious selection to begin with in terms of performance and sustainability, is so expensive, what's the point of pairing it with decidedly low grade materials? It's like setting a precious gem in a plastic ring.
If people didn't want the XIV retro for $150, who on earth wants a dumbed down XIV.5 for a whopping $190 in the middle of a recession? I would be stunned if this shoe isn't a total failure at retail.
As someone who's been wearing Air Jordans since 1990, I won't be buying the 2009 and, frankly, I'd like to know just who would. To me, it's a failure on every level.

Your the man...JB do something smart for once and listen...instead of releasing these to footaction,finishline,footlocker and etc, they should just release it exclusively to outlets and clearence racks cuz thats exactly where there headed

I agree with all of you all, this shoe just doesn't do it but let's wait and see if this is the final product first. You know we on NT love to changeour minds once the shoes is actually looked at in person and stuff.

i like them. i LOVE moon boot, weird type shoes. this is why i like the later jordan models much much more then the earlier ones.

In all honesty, i think the people that aprove of these designs are just bored at the job.
They need some new people making the designs and approving them.

looks like a different version of the XX2s so what now they made numbers 1-23 and now theyre goin backwards making uglier versions of its predecessor

Come on stop it!!! I'd say 90% of ya'll are gonna copp this shoe. So stop frontin. I'm gonna let this one slide because I know everybody is still"high" from the 3 new 23's that just dropped, plus the countdown pack that "officially" drops next week. But this shoe drops 2 monthsfrom now. I know for a fact opinion is going to change between now and then. Let somebody like Jay-Z or Kanye or whoever your favorite rapper is, get caughtrocking these. That picture is gonna get posted in the celebrities thread and all you gonna see are responses, "I can't wait to copp" or"Very hott shoe" etc......
