Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li Trailer

Man, being an avid street fighter fan all my life. You can tell this movie is made for dummies that just like action. Storyline looks horrible and they neverlet an Asian actor come up. No doubt, kristen kreuk looks good, biut Chun Li is from CHINA. Homegirl looks like she is mixed. And Bison is some dude with BLONDhair. I swear on everything, Hollywood is scared to let Asians act cause we do it better than them and they are just trying to guard their jobs. Asiansdon't have that many roles as is besides some Kung Fu, wise, nerd roles. Asian people are as America as anybody, I don't understand why Hollywood istrying to make us seem so foreign???? It's 2009.
 
There better be nudity in it........................................................ And I ain't talking bout no Blanka nudity............
 
She was at comic-con in SD this past summer and u better believe there was a line for her meet and greet. Two things killed it for me. One, she did not allowphotos to be taken of her or with her. And two, the item she was signing, was a wack 8x10 with a ton of negative space on it. It could have at least been aheadshot! How u gonna promote something big like SF and not have a decent photo? It looked like it was copied on cheap paper at Kinko's!!

She's beautiful and all...but she's no A-list actress. Coming to SD and not taking photos w/ the fans, $*+...

and stereotypes are practically everywhere if u aren't caucasian

i know right? even though she is like 1/3 or something chinese, she essentially has no asian features. they shoulda got lucy lui or something

Kristin's half Chinese. But I think they brought her in for eye candy. To bring in the dudes who worship her...I guess Kelly Hu's too old to play ChunLi? Then again, there are a ton of females out in the east that could pull off Chun Li. But i'm guessing they wanted someone w/ a name to a face.

Its def convenient.
I remember seeing a makeup commercial where I didn't even recognize her from Smallville
idk y but she looked dead up 100% asian in that commercial IMO
whereas in Smallville she look 100% European idk why

Man, I'm starting to believe my professor in college. He said Asians will never be accepted in USA because we have distinct facial featuresand if we assimilate with our language then we are consider sell-outs. It's kind of true to me, but at the end of the day, I'm getting my citizenshipin a couple of months, and I know in my heart I love this country for what it has given me.
 
I don't know nothin about the video game other than that I played it a lot on super nes..but the movie don't look that bad
