when people make threads they tend to type "Vol. ____" at the end.

In posts like "Wdywt" and "pyp" it's an old staple that's as old as NT itself. i.e. "Vol. 7" "Vol. I'm notsure"

But around 2006, people developed the habit of putting things like "Vol. This Girl is Bad!!" or "Vol. Waiting on Line ftl" to the end oftheir thread titles. I'm not sure who started it, but when it started happening people noticed and even mocked it for a while, but the trend stuck around. It's fairly young in the grand scheme of NT but it's still 3 years old.
