Well...
I have 2 SERO lines. I got one Touch Pro through a hook up for $200. Ever since I got the TP, I have completely abandoned my other line.
I was looking for some programs on another website and word has it that Sprint has no more Moguls and is replacing them with TPs...for free of course if youhave insurance.

Said that the keyboard is unresponsive, which it is, and that there is a white spot on my screen, which there is...and received this confirmation email.

Googled about it and many people are getting the TP in replacement as well..
I'm afraid to rely on another HTC.. the Mogul's battery life is horrible.

Tried this a while back and got another Mogul sent back,

Anyways, how do you like your Touch Pro? I'm mildly obsessed with my Mogul and it gets heavy usage. Was always intrigued by the Touch Pro, but never feltthe need to "fix" something that wasn't broken. Any features they left out that were in the Mogul? I really make the most possible use of myMogul and wouldn't want to lose anything by switching over.

Anything my Mogul was capable of doing, the TP can do it and better.
The main issue with the Mogul was the memory leakage and abrupt closing of programs.
I can be listening to music, browsing, and texting/IMing all at once without any skips or lag...and definitely no program closing. That was my main issue withthe Mogul.
The ONLY thing I miss with the Mogul is the d-pad.

If it's "stolen", they would charge you 50. I wouldn't want to do it that method because they may call your bluff and try to find you a Mogulfloating around somewhere. I would just be very critical of the Mogul that you have in the defect description and see what happens. It's already apparentthat they are replacing all Moguls with TPs using that link. I would be weary of going to a Sprint store and claiming it stolen or defective because people atthe store can be stingy bastards.
Luckily, some of my buttons stick or are unresponsive and I could have sworn that the white spots show up on ALL Moguls.

Sold. No D-Pad though? That's a let down, I almost can't even imagine the phone without it. Are all programs from the Mogul compatible with the Touch?Mostly concerned with Garmin GPS and WMWIFIrouter.

Well...there is a d-pad...but it's just not as simple as the Mogul. Instead of providing a d-pad with clear directions, they decided to be "cute"about it and make it all smooth.
WMWifirouter works. It was build on a ROM that I'm using. I imagine Garmin works as well. I haven't heard of any compatibility issues. Could just rollwith Live Search or Google Maps which now has Google Street View...

i just got a replacement though...will that matter? my mogul keyboard does suck though...th i o u keys never type.

I use a pretty specific map for Garmin for when I'm out on the boat; But yeah, I can't imagine there being any compatibility issues. Oddly enough, evenwith Garmin installed, I only use Google Maps for directions. As for WMWifiRouter and xBox, while I haven't done it myself, I've heard of many peopleusing this set up.

I would try again once the 30 days is up. And yes...they both use Micro SD. I kinda want a Diamond since I have a TP. Hmmm...

I've had two difference caseswhere my keyboard was acting up, there is a .CAB file that corrects one problem. man sprint customer service is so bogus. I called so many times complaining about that phone and they just kept saying I can exchange it for another mogul andwanted to charge me 50 dollars even though I had insurance. Got it exchanged twice and same problems. They wouldn't even let me downgrade the phone I hadto pay full price for another one since at the time I wasn't with them for a year yet. I HATE THE MOGUL!!!!!!

Alright so...
I did this on Monday at about noon(found out about it through slickdeals)...Signed up for the phone replacement and all that...
and YESTERDAY at about 6 pm the deilvery guy shows up at my door with new Touch Pro...I was speechless...
They took just over 24 hours to get a brand new touch pro shipped to me at home...and it was free....This was definitely one of my better comeoffs... (Awesomedeal to begin with, but the fact that I pay $7 a month for insurance made it free, instead of having to pay the $55 for the upgrade)
Im messin around the phone right now...Youtube app is very nice...
