:::OFFICIAL SNEAKER CARE/MAINTENANCE POST::: (It's back!)

Anybody do indoor retrobright technique? My jordan 11 lows were super yellow and it seems that they are very slowly getting icy after 3 sessions. Just did a 2 hour session and I see no improvements. Am I being impatient or has anyone else had issues where the retrobright didn't work? I'm using 40 volume creme, oxi clean, and corn starch with a uv light.

Well you can buy another shoes if your very impatient..

On the other hand , indoor method takes a long time. 3-5 days 24 hrs a day and keep reapplying the retrobrite/seaglow or pure 40volume.. And put some saran wrap to decrease the drying time of the solution..

24 hours a day?? I do saran wrap it and reapply the solution, but do it for 2 hours at a time. I have a box lined with aluminum foil with the light inside the box. Kinda skeptical on leaving it running 24 hours when I'm not home in case anything happens.

Yeah i do advice to turn the lights off when your not home to avoid accidental shortage.. It will make the process a lot longer but much safer.. I put the shoe about 3 inch away from the light... Does not do any harm, my cool grey 11 did not have any problem.. Took me 4 days. And still have about 20% yellowing but its much better..

indoor setup takes way longer. i usually do indoor sessions overnight. i dont even put them outside anymore i just put them on the window sill and let the sun shine in on them. fyi you dont need corn starch

Finally, I did it! Removed the mold inside the shoe. Yeah.

Does anyone know the procedure used for this?
I contacted the member and waiting on a response.

wanted to wear my concords today and found the same thing on the sole :smh:
its from the ink in the receipt...

please advise.
thank you all in advance

Was just about to start my restoration project on a pair of Olympics too. I started with the midsole and painted it with Angelus white paint. Its way to shiny so Im going to buy duller and try it again. Have you had much success with the midsole and actual leather on the shoe matching? If so, can you tell me what you used? Thanks!!!
Damn this is making me worry. Hopefully it looks ok on my FK Lunar1s :\.

Could Someone Tell Me what Paints To Use On Lebron 9 Low Hornets And Cool Grey 11 Patent Leather Upper + Midsole?

Yes there 18s the side was ripping I wasn't sure if I should just use e6000 or there was something else I can do and I got some 6000 on hand luckly to fix it so thank u for the help... N does any one else no how would a wood burning kit work on jordans for a "laser" like effect

well you would just burn whatever material it gets put on obviously so i dont think it would be a great idea especially since most materials would just leav a black mark and look nothing like a lasered effect but if you have the burning kit and a pair of beaters it couldnt hurt to try, if i had a kit i would try for you but i havent seen a wood burning kit since the late 80s lol

Hello guys,

Does anyone know if I can do anything with this?

LeBron XI King's Pride

Thanks

How often do you wear those? Those are this years model and already they're scraping like that. I would expect that after 6-7 years maybe, but within a year?

It's my mothers from the 80s lol gonna try it out on some pair of leather beaters I have to see how it comes out I figure if I can do a nice light burn and paint the burn design n then use a diff paint around it I can make a sweet custom...... Or.... It just gonna burn to much or it won't look good and I won't do it lol

im guessing motorcycle wear? and you cant do anything about missing material sorry man but that sucks, might as well beat them into the ground now

Angelus Direct screwed up my order and sent Antique Gold instead of regular Gold. Does anyone know if there's that much of a difference?

Have a random question maybe some one can help with... I saw these empty paint markers, there called Montana paint markers... I was curious if anyone has used something similar to this... The markers are empty so you can put in your own paint and I wanna use angelus in them but not sure how well they will work was just curious what peoples experiences or opinions would be on that and also is the angelus paint thick or think liquid?

the paint isnt that thick but i would rather use a brush than a pen anyway only because you can get into corners and edges much easier with a brush and you can manipulate the brush to fit your needs but the pen/marker is a one way deal.

Well I figured I'd use a fine brush for that but I like how the markers worked on my other pair of shoes but I wasn't happy with the paint n that other company got the Jordan colors I don't wanna leave a brush stroke look and the markers didn't leave and of that
