:::OFFICIAL SNEAKER CARE/MAINTENANCE POST::: (It's back!)

I would definitely try another layer or two since you already did all that work. And again, it's really hard to judge exactly what you want to fix to make it look factory made. You might just want to just try glossing it with Acrylic Finisher after adding another layer or two and if that's fine, just be content with it. Often times it looks fine on feet, but may not be perfect when up close.
Alright, Yeah I might try that, Since its my first time too, So too next time with the white color, i will know what to do  thanks man!

Light paint coats and as its drying seconds later i brush over what i painted to eliminate brush strokes. Takes practice but you'll get it.

I would assume that middle strip is mesh like on the Jordan 11's and the outer material is neoprene?

The mesh should be able to be cleaned and this probably would work on the neoprene too, but I can't make any promises for sure.

Looks good. If it looks better in person is all that matters. I would recommend applying that Angelus Acrylic Finisher.

i think i see your problem, it looks like the layers are too thick. the second pic looks much better. like others have said thin coats work. with black try to "pull" the paint as much as you can without re-dipping.

oh next time try painting the whole midsole white first, then taping off and doing black last
And dont use masking tape..use painters tape. Youll see why when you peel all that off, will leave a sticky residue on your shoes

No, just do thin coats and let it dry before applying more. White normally takes about 7-10 thin coats

White is one of the hardest like Ricky said just do thin coats til its covered. Your darker colors usually cover quicker with less coats. Im repainting the mids on a pair of 01 black cement 3s and took alot of coats to get it covered evenly
