More than $35,000 worth of merchandise and electronics were stolen overnight from an apparel store in the Bishop Arts District ofDallas.
300 block of West Davis Street in Dallas
A burglar kicked in the back door of 10 Footwear at 322 W. Davis St., Dallas police said this morning. The burglar stole 525pairs of Nike shoes, 250 T-shirts, 70 belts, three computers and the cash register sometime between 8 p.m. Wednesday and 3 a.m. today.
Dallas police Senior Cpl. Kevin Janse said it was likely the burglary involved more than one person because of the large numberof items stolen. Police, however, do not have surveillance video of the crime and no witnesses have come forward.
While business burglaries are not uncommon, he said the crime was unusual for this part of Dallas.

"It's mainly a business area that's not on our radar as a bad part of the city," Janse said.
Calls made to 10 Footwear this morning were not answered.
