Do you leave them factory laced or relace them? I always relace mine with all the laces going down first rather than factory lacing where the first one come from the bottom. If that makes sense. And loosen them a bit, loses quite a bit of length then...

Need some help from some of the older heads on here about this pair:
I got these around 2008 (can't remember from where) when I was getting heavier into NBs, and I thought they were the 20th anniversary pair. However, someone just pointed out to me that they should have come with a white box and bag. Mine came with the normal brown box the Flimby pairs usually come with.
My question is: does anyone know why? Did they make fakes or b-grades of this version? Was the shoe supposed to come with any other extras?
My box says "2007" on the bottom. I don't see any production years on the tongue tag. I don't remember a navy UK-made 996 coming out in 2007, but honestly can't remember that far back.
Anyways, any help will be appreciated.
It depends on what color denim. Dark denim looks good with anything imo. The 998s are both national parks. LL light blue BT grey red blue. Either pair are nice. All about how you rock it
Both are fire. 998s are more comfy and its my favorite model so i'm a bit biased. Those 1300s are a must have too. I see your dilemma. It comes down to your favorite model. Which pair is more comfy for you, and the colors in your closet. For a smoother subdued look pool blues. For a sharper attention grabber 1300nw
