Hows the fit on these compared to the regular mesh 990's that came out, normally I tend to wear a 12 in NB which is a size down from my Nike size but when I tried on the 990 at the NB Outlet they were a bit smaller than other models like 1300, 996 to the point where I could see my toe poking out the front lol. Im pretty sure they were just the regular 990 re issues or whatever with the mesh and a solid red color so I'm not sure if those were like a older version and these fit bigger for some reason.

ya i guess bc its on the toe that it bothers me more as the tongue can be covered up.  I dont think i am going to find another pair, and i got them slightly below retail from my local shop so im on the fence at the moment.  You are right, even when i put them on my feet i cant really tell the issue but i still know its there.

I got them in a 10.5 which is the same size as my 997/998's. I don't have the regular mesh 990's so I can't comment on how they fit compared to them. But my TTS is an 11 so I .5 sized down and they fit perfect.

That news was broken to the thread by myself. Unfortunately I don't think it is going to happen. I got the news last summer that the collab would be releasing late 2014 and it never popped up. I am saddened and disappointed.

Well that's definitely disappointing...the optimist in me says it may just have been pushed back due to a number of reasons. But whatever the matter, I hope Blends does end up doing a New Balance collab in the future. They've killed their Vans ones, and I'd be interested in seeing what they'd do with a runner.
 
I could not agree more. Their bones and Vans Sk8 Hi and Old Skools have been crazy dope. Hopefully they still release a pair.
 
Do mia 999's fit bigger, smaller, or the same as mia 997's?

Edit: Nvm, 999 have slightly more room in the toe box. But both are about the same in length.
