My worst would have to be when i was buying some used but not heavily used retroes from a dude online and i was hype because i checked and they werelegit and the price was
smokin.gif
.
So i get my kicks and they great, got everything except the retro card but i wasn't trippin. i put 'em on, they fit nice and comfortably. sothey're sitting in my room just chillin on my shelf, and over the next few days i start feeling itchy and i have these little bites like on my hands, arms, legs etc. i didn't think too much about it, i just thought maybe mosquitoes were commin out early (but it was winter.). i start doin some research and icome to find out that i have bed bugs!!!! i could not believe that &#$%!!! i'm steady tryna figure out how the hell did i get bed bugs. got my momsall worried cuz she don't want them in her room or my grandparents room. then she had the dudes from Orkin come and they confirmed it was bedbugs and mymoms had to pay 3 bills (thats 300 for those who dont know.
smh.gif
) for them to treat my room.
Then i realized it had to be the kicks, there is no other way that we could have just gotten bedbugs out of the clear blue, b/c we keep a clean house.
i ended up having to trash my retroes.

These two stories are from when I worked as a NIKE Specialist in a sporting goods store and Customer Service would call me to handle all the janky NIKE/BrandJordan returns.

- On the morning of an Air Jordan launch, all the bums were bringing in their old shoes to try and exchange for a new pair. One guy says the air bag on hisAir Total Uptempo Max "busted". I open the box and the air bag has been SLICED OPEN from the forefoot to the heel. I lift up the shoe and the steakknife he used was STILL IN THE BOX!

- On the Air Jordan XIV launch date, a couple is waiting outside the store before we're even open. The guy says he bought the shoes at our store (eventhough they just launched that morning and he was the first customer in the store) and he was given a men's shoe and a boy's shoe, so he wants us togive him a pair in his size. In the box he has one left men's size 9 shoe and one left boy's 7Y shoe (obiously displays from a window or shoe wall). I look inside the shoes and they still have the plastic inserts and price tags from The Athlete's Foot (not our store). I put the shoes behind our counterand explain that I'm calling The Athlete's Foot and the police and that he's welcome to stick around and tell his side of the story if he wants to. They bolt out of the store, and just to mess with them I follow them to their car and act like I'm writing down their license plate.

damn thas tough ma dude. i dunt cop anything but DS, and this story reinforces that notion. i think the worse for me was maybe a year or two ago iwanted to cop a pair of jays at my local magic sneaker. i always call before goin to pick any pair of kicks up cuz i know usually there is only 1 pair of size13. dude that picked up barely spoke english and yesed me to death that they had size 13 and plenty of them. when i got there they had no size 13's at all.i was madder then hell and started ripping dude. he told me my size sold out like a week ago and wouldnt tell me which dude might have answered the call.
smh.gif

I just got my VII Hares and just when I was pulling them out of the box, my brother gets all excited but forgets that he was chocolate from a cupcake all overhis fingers. So he grabs them out of my hands and leaves a huse DOO DOO stain right on the toe. I was so pissed. Every time i out them on i see that stain andmy heart falls.

i dont think anyone else in this thread is going to have a more worst experience, you hold the title hands down

Worst experiences were with two pairs that were supposedly NDS. Lightning 17's and white/black/red 2's. Both were heavily used, 2's look like theyhave some sort of burn mark on the heel.

That's crazy. That second story is funny as hell

I bought a pair of used OG XIIIs on ebay for $160.

When they arrived, the inner lining was stained beyond belief and smelled like mold and cigarette smoke.

I cleaned and febreze'd them, wore them two or three times, then sold them for $120.

Now, whenever I consider buying a used shoe, I have to ask if they are coming from a smoke-free home.

Wow funny that this post came up since my worst experience just arrived today (4/10-pacific time). I bought a pair of Bugs Bunny VIII OG retro (not CDP) DSfer 115 shipped off a guy on ebay. Dude lives in Malaysia. It took about 6 weeks to finally arrive to my home and when I get em, I find out one of the shoeshas multiple cracks and both shoes are yellowed. I wouldnt even consider this my worst experience if they shoe had come in proper time. But 6 weeks... Itfinally came today. But I cant really complain since it was only 115.

ordered a pair of columbia xi on ebay seller mjbay2000Australia, the picture he post is so clean, the sole is icy and the patent is white. when I got theshoes, the patent is yellow and so as the sole, its a ebay store I think...still see him selling stuff left and right. I was pretty upset about that. However,I think that's my only bad experience.

Buying a pair of Aquas on RD and never opening them for a Month FTL. Ended up getting a mismatch on one of the shoe sizes.
Went back to the Niketown, and they gladly paired up my mismatch
laugh.gif
theother pair was kept so all was good.
