Air Jordan Retro III (3) True Blue - August 2009 (SneakerFiles.com) ***[UPDATED 6/2]***

HERE ARE THE OFFICIAL WORDS FROM GENTRY HIMSELF ABOUT THE TRUE BLUE III ONLY BEING AN INTERNATIONAL RELEASE:

What have you got in store at JB? Is there anything special for us coming up?
Funny you should ask. I walked into one of the retailers yesterday and it was hilarious. I feel like a lot of times I'm in a no-win situation. We'regetting ready to release the Air Jordan III. And many people don't realize this is an international market exclusive.

Why was it an international release only?
I remember being here a year ago and everybody said 'Oh how come we don't have what the US has?' You can never seem to please everyone, but at theend of the day I think the excitement that it brings to the brand and whether they're talking about the hype around it, has a positive influence on what wedo. You're going to see more things happen like that where we start to introduce special projects which are international-only and so forth. As I start totravel throughout the rest of the world and look at these pockets where the game is really relevant, I hope to create some special projects just for thoseregions. So I definitely foresee an opportunity in the future to do some special Australia-only projects.

hogwash....these will make it to da states like every other international release like all da CDP's did.

what JB isn't gonna tell you is that jordans do not sell out in europe. expect these in select retailers after a few months.

I heard if they did release, NBA Store, HOH Only, or Tier Zero accounts...HUF, Bodega type of ishhhh.
Jordan Brand fluctuates, but dont quote me on this.

exactly...IF these do make it into stores in the US expect them in select stores, boutique spots, but not a easy to cop release at all...

Im so happy I finailly got the money for these from trading my Olympic 1s and Orange 8s for CDP 3s which I just sold SO WHERETHE CHEAPEST LEGIT PLACE TO GET EM IN A SIZE 9 PM ME WITH OFFERS PLEASE NOTHIN OVER 210 CAUSE THATS THE LOWEST I'VEGOTTEN

both the 01 and 09 tb IIIs have the blue all around the outer part of the midsole. It's the inner midsole part that has the differencesbetween both retroes.

After a couple months of agony, i finally pulled the trigger on ebay. I figure they're not coming to the U.S. and alot of overseas sights arent restockingso I wanted to make sure i got a pair before they shoot up to $300 a pair...cuz u know its gonna happen.
 
the crazy part is my brother went into a sneaker store the other day and bought two of these in london, lol, he has my two in his closet until he comes outhere, as for them not selling out, the 3's are very big in europe, they will sell out eventually, not as fast as out here but they will disappear, soyou're hoping on lack of sales for them to be shipped out here, don't, because like ive said and others have said, they will not make it to the U.S.just like the cement 3's won't make it out to europe when they release next year.
 
if anyone in the nyc area has a deadstock pair in a size 8.5 or 9 deadstock at $200.00 or under from either europe asian or canada e-mail


had to let a few deals pass for $200.00 because i had no cash

so i know someone has a pair in the nyc area for that price i am sure for a meet up.
 
how's the quality? do they crack easily? on the blue part of mine on the midsole there are lumps of paint that im afraid could be a real sensitive areawhen i use them out. ive been so scared to use them out the house. just wear them to chill in my room. than again those lumps of paint could be lumps of paintor air pockets. feedback please!

i thought the 01s and the 09s were exactly the same. arent the ogs the only ones that have the different midsole? pics?

Just picked up another 3 pairs for $165 each shipped.

Size 10, 11, 12

Would have been less through my connection, but exchange rate sucks right now and so does that stupid VAT tax in Europe
