Definitely can't wait for his album.

Was anybody able to actually hear the remixed version of the Baseball Tonight theme? Looks like all the blogs used the same source. That source is dead so they're all dead.

^confused by the question...the link with the vid is actually on espn.com

i hate baseball tonight tho I havent even tried to check for it

Although Cole hasn't said it, it's pretty much been determined that the single samples Kanye's "We Don't Care".
Thought I'd add that little bit of info for anybody who cares (no pun intended)

He said it sampled a Kanye song that had around 5 other people (non writers) and a "girl singing".  We Don't Care has 5 additional vocalists and Keyshia Cole sung part of the hook.

Cole also said it sampled a big 80's urban pop record.  We Don't Care samples "I Just Wanna Stop" by The Jimmy Castor Bunch, which technically came out in 79, but was big in the 80's.

Also Cole said a loooooong time ago he sampled "We Don't Care" for his album, people just forgot about it.

And NO I did not figure this out myself

. I have a life, I just saw it somewhere and doubled checked to see if there could be any truth to it.

Well done man! Thats some good research/putting the pieces together.  Very logical assumption IMO based on the facts your presented.  I am very intrigued to hear this now because its one of my favorite Kanye tracks.

I saw cats talking bout this in the comments of a rap blog...I started to drop a line in here about it but when I saw their reasoning (not as in depth as malikdagoat) I just let it slide

when he tweeted we dont care lines a couple times...one was for his birthday the other was the day the world was pose to end

but all that other stuff seems plausible...so guess we will have to sit tight and see

My shorty went to the Rihanna concert and Cole opened. She said he was out there for like 15 minutes. Performed Higher, Blow Up, and his new joint. She said it's a sample from Workout Plan by Kanye. She said she could see it being played on the radio.

Workout Plan?!?!? The worst record on college dropout?!?!

This may not end well...but ill reserve further judgement til its released
