I remember reading some thread and people were finding all type of authentic's and M&N jerseys. My store had lots of M&N jackets and **** and swingman Knicks jerseys during the season

Oh yea, forgot about the M&N

dont think that will happen much anymore. hasnt M&N cut down and how much they produce now? dont think they are sending much to outlets these days

picked this up recently.    to find it in a decent size, brand new for a reasonable price was worth it to me.

i prefer the champion version over the reebok one because the ribbing is more wider on the champion version then its reebok counterpart.

I can't believe they are taking this short sleeve shirt thing seriously. I guess the ads would be placed on the sleeves

Noticed that nbastore.com has gone to numerical sizes for authentic jerseys. Wonder if that's because too many people were ordering incorrect sizes or if the jocktags will now have number sizes.

adidas tries to do too much IMO

its not really about the ad's they have been thinking about this for quite sometime. look at college, they brought them there and they arent doing ad's..

they just want to revolutionize and do new things which dont belong on the NBA court

It really bothers me that their sizing says a 44 = Medium. Then they have a 46 but they say a 48 = Large.

I'm looking to get an old Seattle Supersonics jersey altered here in NYC, does anyone know of a good tailor here in New York that can alter jerseys, making them slimmer and less wide? I have a Seattle Supersonics jersey that fits horrifically wide on me. I naturally wear a size 40 in Authentics and this jersey fits great on me length-wise but width-wise, it fits really big on me. If anyone can recommend a good tailor located in New York, I'd be really grateful.

Can I get a legit check on this Kenyon Martin, please?

A bit of a tricky one... It looks good to me but I was told the jocktag/neck tag combo is fishy:

Basically, the neck tag has a dodgy French translation for the "Made in Korea" line, which is not an issue as such but apparently this is normally only found on rbk jerseys that have the open 4s for the size on the jock-tag - and here the jock tag has closed 4s. But obviously, it's pretty thin to go on, and I saw another Nets Richard Jefferson jersey on ebay that has the same closed-4-jocktag/neck tag combo and can't see anything wrong with it.

What I did find suspect is the position of the name in the back and its super thick red contour (see last pic), which is not the same as other Reebok Nets Martin jerseys currently on ebay. It looks like the Champion version had this same lettering though.

From what the seller said, he bought it in 2002, so this would be an early Reebok (I think Reebok took over Champion as the Nets' supplier for 2002-2003).

I saw Jerseys4thewin actually sold one like that not long ago: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Authentic-K...ets-Reebok-Jersey-48-SEWN-MINT-/330947149729?

($38! that's amazingly low for a jerseys4thewin auction

)

It seems to have the same jock and neck tags.

I would think it's all good but... just want to be sure. I can return it for a refund but I'd rather keep it so long as it's legit!

So Reebok basically had 2 different jocktags during their run right? Notice how the 4 is open in the Cavaliers jersey above but its closed on that Nets jersey. There's also a team logo addition to the Cavs jocktag to the right which I'm guessing is the later version (04-05 or 05-06) as that continued with Adidas. The Nets and Magic jerseys must be early 2000s versions.

Perfect - thanks a lot guys!

More than two actually: the closed 4 jock tag would have come first BUT presumably they started adding the team logo when the open 4 version was already in place - so you'll also find jock tags with open 4s but without the team logo.

Yup, you also need to combine jock-tags & neck-tags for checking...I've seen a purple Kobe with closed 44 on that same jock-tag... but was made in China... without the neck-tag it was quite impossible to recognize it, quality & details were just perfect.

I would love to know that as well.  That seller gets some really incredible stuff.  I was watching a jersey last week and the bids were getting up there but I was still going to make a push for it.  It was still 6 days out and I went to check it out and he had ended it early.  Between the shills and that I'm not sure how exactly to obtain anything from him.

that is a good question, he must have a good source, but there is one thing that makes me a bit suspicious:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/PENNY-HARDA...558?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item48582280f6

he lists a Penny Hardaway jersey (could be any other player jersey as well) from the 96-97 season, but this jersey does not have the golden NBA logo, instead it has the regular NBA logo.

I am not the super expert, but I doubt that they wore pro cut jerseys that season with the reagular logo, not even in preseason!

If I am wrong, please enlighten me!
