Official AUTHENTIC NBA JERSEY Post - Bringin Back the JERSEY ERA... (Info/Guide = Page 1)

Hey man, your english is a little tough to follow...but if you're looking for the older jersey with HEAT instead of MIAMI on the front..FullMoonJerseys on eBay has a bunch of these LeBron's in a 2XL for about $99 I think or auctions. They are authentic with mesh numbers as that is where I got mine from.

1000

Not sure what to tell you about team issued pro cuts though.

NBA store most likely, if they still even have this jersey have the twill number version, not mesh.
I bought lebron James jersey authentic revolution 30 from nbastore where can i find the mesh number? So what is the mesh number?

Ah...mesh numbers are exactly that mesh. Not the stiff twill numbers many of the authentics come with. Did you get your jersey yet. The jersey I posted has mesh numbers if you can zoom in.

That bottom is weird...

Is that a custom jersey ?

It's not custom...sort of...I just had it tailored. 2xl is about 34" long, so I have them shortened to about 31". I brought a Swingman as a sample and she did that drop tail thing Swingman used to have.

that's mesh numbers:

that's not mesh:

see difference?

if u want mesh numbers, don't buy on nba.com store

u will get not mesh numbers for sure, except nba.store europe, thy have few new authentic rev30 with logo on back jerseys with correct mesh numbers

like that one

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ADIDAS-AUTH...t=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item27f9cc5bba

jerseys with mesh numbers are rare. usually limited editions on team stores, ebay or from insiders...

man looking at this comparison above is it really that much of a big deal no to just use mesh on every jersey? they have to be saving less than 4 cents. :smh:

What is the difference?

Bro...mesh is exactly that. Mesh...the number is made out of soft flexible jersey type material that flows with the jersey. Twill is stiff almost cardboard type material that does not flex like the jersey. Think like Swingman but stiffer.

How do you guys feel about historically accurate/inaccurate jerseys outside of a game setting? I know it's not important in the grand scheme of things, but since this is a passionate jersey thread, I figured I'd ask, because I'm watching the Jerome Kersey Celebration of Life, and I'm not a fan of the Jerome Kersey jerseys made in this year's Rev30 for the service. I'm kinda distracted in the same way I am by the jerseys retired players wear in appearances, commercials, and recent years' Shooting Stars. I'm just saying, they couldn't spring for an old authentic/issued/worn? Easy enough to hide the Champion label. Not even an M&N? I'm sure they could've whipped something up.

For me personally, the jersey has to be historically accurate or it's not a true authentic.  I don't even own any M&Ns, although I'm not entirely opposed to it.  But for the prices they charge I want the real deal.

Anybody Familiar with Sand knits? How to tell which is real or fake and which are replicas and authentics?

Thanks in advance!

You don't really have to worry about fake Sand-Knits.

I actually mentioned the differences between reps & authentics a few pages back, see below:
The authentics were mesh & sewn with a split hem at the bottom and were sized numerically (40, 44,).

The replicas were poly, screened, no split & sized alphabetically (M, L)
Split hem are the "slits" up the side, btw, in case your not familiar.

Thanks again...ill go back a few pages to see which is which...Looking to get a knicks Sanknit btw
There are no examples, just the info. Don't waste your time.

@ROBPZEE612  Just curious, is that Magic pre Jerry logo or is it just the way the jersey is lying.

Well I don't think there were fake SK jersey.
Reliever they are quite old, at a time the world wasn't globalized as today.
The SK game is much more about fidelity to the original jersey and actual condition of the jersey.

I contact nba store they say me the authentic revolution 30 doesn't have mesh number and if it has them this is fake!

They gave you some bad information.

I know much more about older stuff, but I think nbastore themselves have sold them with mesh in those boxed versions.
