does anyone else find the material that mitchell and ness uses on their newer jerseys kinda weird when compared with champion and nike which is kinda why I myself have no mitchell and ness jerseys

Yeah, it's barely mesh, almost just a perforated material. There are exceptions, like the latest "Shrug" Jordan.

That is a custom. Dirk joined the Mavs in 98' in which Nike made jerseys for the Mavs.
From 97-2001 champion only produced jerseys for Atlanta, Indiana, Los Angeles Clippers, New Jersey, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Seattle, Utah and Vancouver.

The jersey itself is legit but it's customized. Still a nice jersey though.
