How to identify fake soccer jerseys? Tips, links, pictures, etc?

Depends on the lettering, authentic stilscreen will cost like $25-30. Lextra is around the same, National team print is usually 20-25. You don't reallyhave to take it to a shop to get it pressed on, I do it myself now.

Does anyone have any experience with Umbro? I want to buy an Umbro, but I only find the one I want in XL. How does the sizing compare with Adidas? Adidas'Large is what I use, and Adidas' XL is too big, would I have the same problem with Umbro?
 
If I were you I'd go to a jersey store and try on the jersey you want...then order it from online.
 
usually i just order straight from the team site otherwise kitbag or onionbag...soccer.com has really stepped it up lately with the authentic printing optionsfor many teams

just picked up a Tim Cahill away jersey for the Socceroos

Umbro fits exactly like Nike. Runs a little small so I need XXL in that. Adidas I wear XL all day long in, not just me either. My brother wears L in Adidas andXL in Nike and Umbro. My cousin is the same way, M in Adidas, and L in Nike/Umbro. I think the worst fitting company is by far Puma, they fit like LRGtee's, some XL will be huge and some XL will be skin tight, best way is trying it on at a local shop if you don't know how it's going to fit andthen order it from where ever.

the lettering is mostly 30 bucks...but i went to this one shop that tried to charge 40..
 
guys i got a question ... so u guys know how man u's home kit change after two seasons.. but the current one says it is 09/10? is it like that because thesponsorship is changing? If they change the sponsor from AIG to AON is the actual home kit going to change for 10/11 or just the sponsorship?

^ Good question... I think they're continuing with the 'chevron' design for the 10/11 season, so they're probably just gonna replace the AIGwith AON. I'm just speculating.

From what I gathered there would be all new kits for next season. I though the chevron look was only for this season because of the new sponsorfor next year.
 
can someone help me out, im on sudsidesports.com right now and im looking at the 08-10 liverpool home jersey and for the official printing there are 2 choicesfor each name and number, premiership and european...........whats the difference?

One is the lettering they use in English Premier League games, the other is probably the Champions League lettering

edit: also, if im a 2x in nike, what should i get in adidas, should i stay 2x or just get xl
 
Does soccer jerseys have a "authentic" or "replica" kinda like what they got with NFL or NBA jerseys? Like the ones you see in your localmalls or stores being sold that are around $60-$80

im not an expert on soccer jerseys but reading through this thread i've learned a good bit, but to answer your question the replica soccer jerseys are theequivalent to nba and nfl authentic jersey, someone correct me if im wrong

Premiership obviously refers to the EPL, while European refers to the Champions League...

This will not be our shirt for next season because the chevron will be gone. The sponsor is right but because the chevron was a celebration of 100years at Old Trafford we wont have it next year.
