News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

Kevin Smith is a huge Batman fan and an even bigger friend of Affleck (He bought his house from Affleck when he moved from NJ). When he did his podcast review for TDKR, dude only saw the film twice and he basically recited the film beat for beat w/ dialogue.

So yeah, he has the propensity of going off the deep end whenever he talks about Affleck or Batman.. the fact that Ben is now Bats? Dude is just over the moon. :lol:

But yeah, the only news here would have been if the suit was awful.
 
^ This. The hug is kinda thrown out because the're boys. Part of me wishe Smith is a consultant on these movies because he knows what he's doing.
 
Well you would think a batman fan would be more critical of a batman movie (tell yourselves it is a MoS movie all you want). Look how the X-Men fans are ripping those movies to shreds.

Even without the hug tho. The way everyone was covering the news at the time was as if this would be the end all be all of batman suits. Hell I think the concept one looks better. Just needed the grey to be a lot darker.

I guess since the suits reactions are positive I will take it. Still tho. Maybe because the color is missing I just aint seein it.

I'm sorry but in still not sold on Ben. Some actors look like "themselves" in every movie if you know what I mean. When I see Ben in a bat suit, I don't see batman, I see Ben in a bat suit. Maybe it's just me though

Yeah. I can't even say he's a bad actor, he's good. He's just also Ben Affleck. You tell me he's some working stiff or dude from Boston, I got you. Anything else? Secret agent, mob boss, badass, super genius, whatever. Nah....that's just Ben Affleck.
 
What about Matt Damon? When he's in a movie do you just see Matt Damon? The most recent thing I saw him in was Candelabra, different kind of role for him.
 
Nah, Matt Damon's always kinda been a chameleon. Ever since he lost all that weight for Courage Under Fire. Like, just watch Talented Mr. Ripley.

Dude can disappear into a character and make you believe it.

Nah. I didnt feel I was looking at Matt Damon when I saw The Departed or Bourne Movies. He is flexible. Not Dicaprio flexible but still very flexible. tbt I would rather he had been batman.
 
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, the actor that plays the kingslayer in GoT would be perfect as Aquaman imo
