DoFP boycott is still going for me

Fox not getting my money after they tried to shutdown the DoFP thread

They already beat Marvel for QS long ago, he was in Origins and his name "Pietro" was an easter egg in X2, his name was listed in the cpu Mystique hacked. I have a feeling this is why in the trailer he said he knew him, he is one of the dude he freed in Strykers cel.

That would f'up the timeline even further but I think everyone is just trying to forget how all fits in anyways.

I noticed but you know what I meant.

Lol did Fox really yry to shuy down a thread on this website?

Those ******* clowns

Did they ever explain, in the comics, how magneto has control over all metals despite the fact that the only magnetic metals are iron, nickel, cobalt, gadolinium, neodymium and samarium. Technically he should not be able to stop bullets since lead has no magnetic properties (unless I am mistaken about the composition of bullets)

Crazy how y'all getting pulled in by some trailers. I aint never getting fooled by FOX again, especially with X-Men movies.

He has control over the entire electromagnetic spectrum, which is a fundamental force. He can magnetize any metal he wants if it isn't among other things.

While I can't repeat the plot details, for fear of a sixth takedown notice, they were about as "revealing" as the two line descriptions you'd find on Netflix or a DVR guide.  Nobody at Fox Group Legal could explain how this in any way violated "fair use," or even bothered to specify which "plot details" were at issue.  Their request could have been interpreted so as to include sixty-year-old character names and descriptions.  (e.g. "Spoiler alert: Superman's weakness is kryptonite."  "Batman's parents die."  "Peter Parker is bitten by a radioactive spider.")

their movie must be THAT bad if they can't even afford the backlash it receives from this site (which must be less than .02% of the word of mouth it receives from the entire internet)

I bet if we were worshipping their work we could damn near publish the script and they wouldnt mind. They are only doing that **** because NT doesn't have the money or legal team that Fox has to fight back. You know they have some of the best lawyers in the world.

I assume there is some supernatural element to this if she is watching her own body die.

Anyway will download downt he line for Chloe Moretz. Fantastic actress and yes I wanna smash. 17 is legal in Illinois

If Chloe Moretz doesnt have Jennifer Lawrence status by the end of the decade then hollywood seriously has issues

I wish I could be as adamant about a boycott as you guys, but my love of the X-Men predates NT by 10+ years.

I'm with you, but I have absolutely no faith in singer

Just make it past the opening weekend.. And wait to hear what people have to say.. Give it a week

I know Superman Returns was not a good film, but people are making it seem like he Schumachered the Superman franchise. It had its' share of flaws, but you could tell that the film was crafted by someone who loved the character. It wasn't just a cash grab and there wasn't a sense of incompetence when you watch the movie.

I've only seen a handful of his other films, X-Men, X2, The Usual Suspects and Valkyrie, and really, they were all solid at worst.

So even if DoFP is horrible, based on the films I've watched from him, he's still a better than average filmmaker.

Same, that is why I refuse to give them my money. IDC if they will make a buckload of money anyway but you can't complain about how ****** the movies are AND fork over your money every title. Not sneak dissing you or anyone. Besides you don't complain about the X-Men film. You like em enough that Fox's job doesn't bother you. I feel the same way about Spidey. They can have my cash since I likely won't complain about it.

Why couldnt Sony have owned X-Men and Fox have owned Spidey :smh:

Singer's last movie was jack the giant slayer.. Just watch the trailer

^ 2 mins could save yourself couple dollars.. And also lower your expectations for DOFP if you're still intent on not waiting..

At least you won't get your hopes up

Just had to look it up, legendary pictures gave singer 185-200 mill to make jack the giant slayer :x

Rewatched Avengers and its def the best Marvel film yet.

Doesn't have much replay value for me. The second time I watched it was on netflix and skipped through all the boring parts. Basically just watched the final battle scene and was done.
