the only problem with kobes is it doesnt have that casual look that JB had

great basketball shoes that only look good on the courts/gym

As for lebrons... i see a similarity to the penny line more than anything. Not really touching JB either.

Sorry, they wont. The jordan line impacted some much in society outside of basketball so much. The kobe line hasnt done much of the same.

Ppl forget about his adidas days... those shoes were on a looooot of NBA players as well... i had em all lol
Adidas Tech back then was real dope, unique..
I actually think Tinker jacked (in some way) the feet you wear tech for the XXs...

these were ugly at first but on hardwood.........

KB has had an amazing line... no doubt about that....

No one expected Nike Air Jordans to be what they are today. I think same will go for the Kobe line, Durant line, possibly the Lebron line, but I kind of doubt because he hasn't done much in the NBA and now the "Decision" will make his legacy sour.

Jordan was first, and his first shoes also make great lifestlyle shoes, so no. And Jordan is still the GOAT... Kobes will def be valuable to laker fans tho...

in the long term, no signature line will be worth as much and jordans. when the fad of being a sneakerhead dies down, all the hyped up releases and colorways of kobes, lebrons, and even some of the wack JB fusion hybrid nonsense will plummet in value, and OG colorways of jordans will be where its at.

If a certain model gets to be retroed, the value of the OG's will decreased.Look at the OG powder 9's...before people buy them for $500 plus because most if the shoes back then were worn/destroyed because there were only few people who kept their shoes deadstock. There are more people nowadays that keep their shoes deadstock so the chances.

Well JB help create the current shoe game but I have noticed that JB has lost its mojo overall. I think the new generations will appreciate the players that grow up in their era and the shoes they wear. Some kids never seen MJ play so certain shoes don't have the lore of the time, place, and situation when MJ wore them. Whereas they'll remember what kicks kobe is wearing because he's in their era and they actually can witness the time, place, and situation he's wearing them in.

So yes I think maybe kobe's line have the potential to be up there with JB b/c his shoes are creating new shoe culture i.e. low tops in bball. Also, he can take advantage of the current shoe game (international as well) whereas JB was creating the current shoe game. My opinion...

the ZK4,5,3,2(orcas) are def classics.. oh and dont forget the shoe of the decade... the 2k4 in many ppls/ballers eyes...

but as for looks against JB, nothing will ever beat these imo tho...
