\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

I didnt wanna say nothin cuz i always get pounced on for critiquin numbers but yea.. its not cheap nor quick nor easy. Usually how it goes... its more or less the same process as tinting windows jus with dif materials correct? If you do the math of square inches tinted vs square inches wrapped and extrapolate id imagine thats about what they charge... with obv ur material being more costly as well. 2k to a wrap a nazi sled sounds prime... less than a new set of wheels? by far? Id say itsa good look. Esp considering the model of the vehicle

My new daily, Trailblazer SS. I wanted to get a SRT8 Jeep but this was 10 grand cheaper, and almost as quick :smokin

benefit of the wrap is that I can always take it off. if I want to go back to my original silver, I can, but the reason I'm wrapping it is because I'm tired of the silver. the wrap also protects the paint underneath. I'm wrapping it a matte gray, but if I want to change it later, I can just take this vinyl off and put some more on. if I can do a clean job, it can look indistinguishable from paint. with matte paint, you have to worry about a lot of factors that can potentially ruin the finish and look, but the vinyl makes me not have to worry about that. it'll be about 20 hours of work by the time I'm done, but I think it'll be worth it.

Just detailed the interior of my car in this heat.

Just found that was microfiber towels are the truth for wiping the inside down.

S4 is a pretty "grown up" car as well though.

 I know right.

Nice new whip nick :pimp:

I'm planning on getting full exhaust on the 5.0 soon. I've already did my suspension mods with H&R super sports, koni adj. yellow shocks/struts, panhard bar, and new strut mounts. Next on my list along with the exhaust will be wider tires, 20" Vossen's, TSW's or I might go with the cheap AMR wheels .

Exhaust wise, I'm thinking about Kooks long tube headers with an o/r x pipe or American racing longtubes with UPR o/r x pipe. I already have Roush axlebacks and I've heard its extremely loud once you add an o/r x to it. Not sure if I want to keep them or get something that will not be as loud.

my wife has a tdi jetta and with the s4, we were lacking in space. We have a pretty big yard and we do a lot of gardening and general things around the house. We're also trying to have our first child and this will just help out a lot. That's all I meant by grown up decision.

Respect. Although in general Idk why people assume first kid = SUV. I'll take your Q5 for example just cause were already talking about it, does the Q5 have THAT much more space than an S4? I know A4's in general are "small" but is it not adequate enough for a carseat and luggage?

2 kids, id really consider it. Then again im not a parent so maybe im talking outta my realm.

Again just using you as an example, I neglected the entire gardening and house stuff.

Not saying the Q5 isnt nice, I just love the S4.

That wrap is going to look great when finished. You got the vinyl online?

Yo, what do you guys use to wash/clean your windows? My uncle had me using newspapers to wipe the windows and I don't think that was how windows should look as I was doing it.

I use 2 microfiber towels. One to wipe the initial spray and the second to do a 2nd wipe of the window to get rid of any streaks.

love the q5's
what s4 did you have b8?

yea, 2011. i loved it! built it and waited 10 weeks for it. was my dream car. but it's just a car. i'm happy that the q5 makes a lot of the things the wife and I do a lot easier. also clears up a decent amount of money for the future. insurance is less. gets better gas mileage and maintenance in the long run will be much cheaper. i'm only 27. i have a lot of life to live and can certainly get another one in the future when the time is right. no regrets here.

Can u get that at Autozone and is there a certain brand I should worry about regarding them microfiber towels?
