\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

Went to the dealership this morning to get some service done, and saw a blacked out GTR chillin' in the showroom. Hurt my feelings

I really dislike how some people act like if you're not driving an import, you're doing it wrong. This dude I know with a Z was telling me "Why do you want the Mustang GT? Too heavy, poor gas mileage, less efficient engine, etc" when the GT gets the same gas mileage, has a similar interior quality, faster 0-60, great handling, etc. all for 2-3K cheaper. I like the Z (I mentioned I wanted to get it in this thread, just decided not to cause I don't like cars with interiors that small) and dislike most American cars in general, but muscle cars have come a long way since the bland, ugly, and weak versions of the 90s-early 2000s

In reality muscle cars being revived have done a huge part in saving US car companies from going extinct

when a car is stanced right, it just has that

factor. i think all cars look good stanced...yes...even domestics.

that chally a page back was hard as ****. im mainly an import/euro guy but i could see myself cruisin in one of those.

I cannot wait to get my H&R supersport springs on the 5.0 to get that perfect stance. Pairing them up with a great set of struts/shocks like Koni yellows will have it handling on the street and track like a champ.

Not trying to argue but those stanced cars look horrible to me.

Muscle Euro whatever it looks like your car is broken

I may be the only person in the world that thinks wheel gap is attractive

+1 if it wasn't for the modern V6 muscle car we like to hate on in this thread we wouldn't be able cop Da Hemis

Stance is disgusting to me too. Then again, I'm a traditionalist when it comes to cars so I'm probably a minority in this thread. I'm cool with changing the lights, paint job, and rims, but other than that, I like keeping cars the way they were made. No body kits, no slamming, no stance, etc.

Ditto...

"Loud pipes big rims ***** thats my life" -lil wayne circa '98. Everybody likes what they like tho I aint eem mad. Im more of the american kind of gay. (no shots) *** cars where im from are known as the "female whips" if it wasn't for nt I wouldn't kno any different. Ive seen a couple stanced whips that caught my eye (some pages back, think it was a maro or stang) but its not really my thing. More cars tho, did jsj cop that hemi or v6?

Then the dealer told me they had a redline r/t on the lot... Then 4 hrs later it was gone

Now there's one 400 miles away he's tryna get in for me. I dunno. Either way I'm happy.

Damb 4 hours

Horrible feel.. He then proceeds to tell me I was right about how rare it is...

Like word guy? Wanted to reach through the phone.

Like I said tho there's one n North Carolina they're supposedly shipping up for me... Well see if its meant to be or not

They need to leave that slammed nonsense on their

Own JDM cars...american muscle cars look horrible,

Lookin like crossbred incest off shoots..

This doesn't look good?

Son picks da worst representation for American

Muscle :smh:

Foxbods are dope as hell and still RULE modern street racing circuits. They can be made Honda light but theyre real wheel drive and have an engine bay large enough to put nearly anything you want to under the hood.

Son picks da worst representation for American

Muscle :smh:

I was never really into American cars at all. Never looked into them or cared about anything for them. But if you are a fan of them please explain to me why some American muscle guys think the foxbody mustang was like the best one and some don't? is it the weight issue? I always hear people arguing about which is the best mustang and I'm just sitting there like "I like hondas"

Its power to weight and ease of maintenance. These cars were the last gen that was really simple and easy to work on yourself compared to the computer controlled modern stangs.

when you go from...

to

you can see da distaste....

from making 400ish horsepower to barely cracking 150hp :smh:

are you talking stock numbers or no?

yes stock.

OG american muscle was until modern muscle came and revolutionized it was da powerhouse of all da eras...

When you look at stock cars from the 80s you have to remember EVERYTHING SUCKED and that 55mph was the NATIONAL speed limit during these years. Cars power numbers during the era were more regulated and constricted than ever before. Govt regulation was so tight that the only car putting up anything close to serious numbers was a lil v6 that got overlooked and slipped through the cracks (Buick 3800 Turbo  )
The 80s was an era where if you wanted a brand new fast car... you had to build it.

The 5.0 motor used in the stang was MUCH more tune-able and when modified it could produce and safely hold much more power than the competing Chevy 305 (GM 5.0 liter).

 @ calling a fox body "old school" :smh:

Didn't know the fox body was new school

its late model muscle = new school

Car has been out of production for 20 years.... I think its safe to call it an old school at this point.

That's what I'm talking about. **** all that arguing BS. Some good knowledge being dropped in these last few posts
