Anybody customize these. Picked up the black/volts last week and found a super steal for the black/whites at $21.97. Very very similar colors but they are too damn cheap to pass up. Thinking about painting the swoosh a tiffany color to make Tiffany Koston's. Anybody use Angelus Paint or Sharpie to customize the swoosh?

I would just leave them be.

However if you really want to customize them, I would use Angelus Paint. Just buy the sealer too (to seal up the paint you applied).

One thing I failed to mention, I would recommend Angelus Acrylic Duller to mix with the paint (small amount). The paint without the duller is a little too glossy. Also get the matte finisher. The other finishers go on glossy & you might not like the look when it dries.

I need those Koston 1 Express

I just got the volts at my outlet last month. Nice shoe.

 

I'm looking forward to the Koston 2's 

My lady ordered these for me for Valentines day...first pair of Koston's, looking forward to trying these on.

 

x2 on all the K2's...Koston 1's are my beaters so the new joints will be my replacements...

I don't like the K2s at all. I thought they might grow on me the more that I see them, but it's just the opposite. I hate them the more I see them. I do like the SB Rabonas better. They're similar to the K1 last which is why I think I like them better then the K2.

So FINALLY we get a release date for the K2's...Monday April 1st...

Can't wait to finally try these out...Hopefully they stand up to the standard set by the K1 because that shoe is likely the best skate shoe I've ever worn...

I don't skate, but I love the K1 for casual summer wear. I really like the digitial pink, blue, and black/pink colorways. Hopefully some other great CWs on the horizon.

What was the story behind these? I've got the more Koston 1-esque upper pair, but I can't remember what the deal was with the Kobe VI-esque upper version.

Def copping the Expresses

When do the expresses come out, and where? Anyone get the pink 2's yet? 

grabbed the pink 2s for me and some janoskis for my gf yesterday.

Only one shop in AZ that I know of got the digital pink 2s and they only received six pairs. I got a 10 and 11

 

Are the pink 2s really that limited?
I can't find a 11.5 anywhere in NYC.

extremely limited, sold at the vault at the staples center in los angeles. but i believe a select few without the cigars etc were sold at select skate shops. it was a kobe/koston collabo w/ koston 1 and kobe vi...

really rare, but def not worth the 1k i have seen them listed for on ebay.

400-650 range is more accurate

I tried on the GR Black / Gold colorup last week and fell in love with the fit...Very close to the K1 but a lttle more room in the toe box...Seems like they upped the lunerlon on the insole as well...Supposedly made them more breathable than the K1 but I didn't have them on long enough to be able to tell...

One thing I can say is that the new lacing setup is better for me in a couple of ways...The way it's angular near the toebox almost completely removes the laces from the ollie area...Secondly it gave me a really nice locked in feel as compared to the K1 which I was continually tightning due to them become loose and starting the flop around...I'm getting a couple pairs of the Black / Gold's when they release next week and I'll put them through their paces...

Basically it's like the K1 is an epic shoe to chill in...For me not so much a great "Skate" shoe...

The K2 however seems like it took that comfort level the the K1's offered and made some tweaks to the design to put it more in line with what's needed (in my eyes anyway) to provide a solid skatable shoe...

I'm in for multiple pairs if the colorways are right...Pinks are a no go for me though so yall can have those...

Those black & volts look better on feet. Anyone get these?
