Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

2 times in the first 48 hours it's been out. Must be DAMN good.

Unless you just wanna see ya girl Alice again

Wow this doesn't look like it's going anyway like you thought it would CP. Deb is in a depression and Dex is facing off against some profiler

They better end this right.

Star Trek Into Darkness was great! Highly recommended.

Yikes...I completely disagree

Review: Star Trek Into Darkness - JJ Abrams returns with a film that's simply forgettable, regardless of the great performance from Benedict Cumberbatch. It's clear his mind is on Star Wars and not Star Trek - http://wp.me/p2CCWq-31r

If I remember right (I do) the previews only show clips from like the first two episodes, so they still have time to adjust. Interesting Batista is a cop again.

Like Deb as a crack hore.

We'll see. But I've come this far, gotta finish it off.

Depending on how this last season goes, Dexter might overtake LOST as my favorite show of all time.

I doubt it though...

Cuz Dexter as great as it was those first few seasons can't match LOST in it's first 4 seasons. Hard to compare cuz they're two different animals but LOST overall is just better.

I got so disappointed when I seen Batista as a cop, I got this feeling of dread like he's gonna die this season. Makes sense he comes back as Captain cuz of LaGuerta dying.

Saw Star Trek yesterday.

4/5

One of the best sci fi films that I've seen.

The star trek references couldn't have been anymore corny, but oh well.
I'm talking about the 1st one

It'll at least be better than Prince of Persia.

Fassbender, so I'm seeing it eventually, regardless. And dude can make anything at least interesting and decent.

im a fan if Fassbender too, but yall remember 'A Bear Named Winnie'? umm, yea.

The first mortal kombat film is the goat when it comes to video games being made into movies . You can tell Kano gotten into Sonya's yams one time or another .

Mortal Kombat and the Street Fighter movies were awesome  from playing the games in the arcade, to seeing the movie, then getting it on VHS. that made my childhood no matter how corny they were

Street fighter was buns the only good one was the animated flick. I Remeber watching that as a 10 year old and wanting to leave the theater

for all you movie heads, is there a particular type of movie that you flat out will not watch?

like supernaturals or rom-coms or something?

I don't like horror movies... So I really never watch them. If one in particular has great reviews or I like the actress in it, then I will. That's as far as it goes.. But I never refuse a genre.

I'd say the most common for guys would be musicals.

yeah, you're right musicals, there a few classic ones that I would like to see just because

I love me some Chicago though

I watched Funny Face last week too, didn't even know it was a musical all this time.  It was like Devil Wears Prada with singing.

at the top of my do not watch list would probably be aliens

Yeah, I hate musicals, but I did watch Les Mis...

Twilight kinda stuff...unless Hunger Games counts.

Live action family friendly stuff, like movies where the Rock doesn't have a gun or they play a top 40 song every 5 minutes.

Anything with Brendan Frasier. Julia Roberts. Katherine Heigl. Madea. Adam Sandler. Brett Ratner.

I dont like disney or pixar animated movies for the most part. avoid those as much as I can maybe because I don't have a high expectations for such movies even though the last one i saw was wreck it ralph just to see cameos of video games and before that was The Incredibles which surprised me that I liked it.

no horror movies like Big J period except the real old ones that usually appear on everyone's top list on IMDB

and musicals are cool, I grew up on Grease, Sound of music, West Side story all cuz of my mom

but I always go with the attitude of "you see it once you'll never have to see it again"
