Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Last I saw in theaters was Gravity. It's gotta be a spectacle for me to go nowadays. I don't like being stuck in those chairs for two hours either

Went last night to two films. The Judge, and Gone Girl.

Loved GG, liked Judge. Will type more tomorrow.

I saw TDKR at the arc light in LA that was so dope and perfect. Great sound comfy. My boy somehow fell asleep though but he does that with every movie.

Watched Neighbors and seemed like a below average Project X. Still not a fan of Seth Rogen just seem like he tries too hard to get the joke across.

John Wick was a great action movie. If you're looking to mindless action with a decent story and a cool criminal world go check it out

its everything the equalizer should have been, Keanu headshotting everyone

6.8/8

I don't get to the theater very often at all, so I enjoy it when I get there. (Pretty sure I've only been twice this year - Grand Budapest Hotel & GoTG). That said, I'm just as happy catching movies in the comfort of my own home.

when i was visiting LA a few weeks back it cost me 23 dollars to watch equalizer because they only had tickets for the one with the dumb seats that move

get back to canada and i got a free FURY tshirt and watched fury in imax for 13 dollars

First showings at the theater near me are $5.50...After that I still show them my 9 year old college ID for student tickets $7.50 :pimp:

Saw Fury today, and liked it a lot....solid 7.2/8

whens the last time a movie had a great montage with an iconic song?

always get pumped up and ready to hit the gym after watching these

i did like cherry bomb in GOTG

Saw Chef last night with the wifey. Really enjoyed the flick. Very entertaining... Wondering if Favreau really did all the knife work though. Also not really believable that Sofía Vergara would bemis ex wife & Scar Jo would be his current love interest... :smh:  Soundtrack/score is one of my favorites from a flick I've seen this year (along with Her & Cold In July).

Also saw Edge of Tomorrow with the wifey & son who really liked the flick.

Our Dept Manager said we're cutting out early & taking his team to see Interstellar when it releases. :smokin

Good stuff. The Rocky training montages were always money. The montage does seem to be a bit of a lost art these days.

A. I've been leading the Chef bandwagon since it came out. One of the best of 2014.

B. One of the underrated films of the year

C. That's a great man, buy him a beer.

cant find a youtube clip but the montage when arnold sets his jungle traps and makes his own bow at the end of predator is a classic scene from a classic movie
