Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Yes with penn and walken. And the other Penn. I even noticed a super young kiefer sutherland.and Crispin Glover. Super 80's feel lol.

so what's Gus trying to do by making Jesse feel like a hero? put his fear at ease before the deathblow? or turn jesse's life around and get him out of squalor? interesting events underway.

VERY interesting read about Fandango.com's movie rating system. Basically, they are over inflating their movie scores and even rounding up actual ratings that critics are giving movies. Seems pretty shady for a movie ticket selling sight to do, which they talk about in the article.

Anyways, kinda cool breakdown of the rating's of the major websites like IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic, etc.

A graphic of how skewed fandago's ratings are, if you didn't read the article.

Catherine Zeta-Jones was so hot in Mask of Zorro. I can understand why Mike Douglas went after her because he saw that movie.

So, apparently the next Die Hard movie is going to be a prequel that takes place before the original. Bruce Willis is going to be involved, but there's also going to be a younger version of John McClain in it. I think its kind of an interesting way for them to go, TBH.

When I read this earlier today I thought what a terrible bad idea. Should've stopped with a Good Day To Die Hard. That was the trilogy. Now they just raping a corpse :smh:

HOLLYWOOD is like a crack head wanting the era of huge box office action films back. Neglecting the main fact is you don't have the leading men to do it anymore. Keep pushing these lame white guys to the forefront just to watch them fail and then wonder why. Time to move on. Sex up an Asian lead for something for once. Specifically show some Indian guys some love. Bring in the black guys to helm a franchise. Grow some balls and find the right females to take lead.

If they keep this up we'll be left with bad action flicks or remakes or "prequels" with new guys and all of the good older actors who are too old for this **** basically going down the Liam Neeson lane; everybody about to be 50+ with a special set of skills, coming out of retirement, looking for revenge while being bad *****. I love those types of movies but it won't be a good look when that's the bulk of action flicks.

You'd think with how much money blockbusters have made in Asia the last couple years that at least one studio would attempt to create a film with a good looking and charismatic Asian guy lead but we all know how far behind Hollywood is.

That Rain guy from Ninja Assassin was pretty good. Haven't seen him since. Donnie Yen was smart to just do Asian movies. Dude flourishes so much.
