It'll either just be a single season event or they might come back to it in 2 years for another miniseries season. Miniseries, especially British ones, can give you a lot of flexibility compared to committing to a long television season in America. 
 
Yeah like what Idris is going with Luther kinda. The ratings/reviews will mostly decide the route they go

That Primal Fear post just reminded me. Not sure I mentioned it before.

Deceiver with Tim Roth, Chris Penn, and Rooker :pimp: I saw part of it last night and saw the whole thing months ago. Really dug it for what it was. Really like the detectives in the room with the suspect movies, grilling and trying to get a confession or get them to **** up.

Rendition with Jake Gylenhall and a bunch of other stars scattered in 8)

Went to boarding school stateside.. Played a bunch of sports.. Literally every single one em at some point or another when we had road trips, they would throw rocky IV on

I swear the school must have bought that movie in bulk and gave it out to every team

In the audio commentary for The Shining someone mentioned that he beat Stanley Kubrick in a game of chess when they were taking a break on the set, and Kubrick was known to be a chess genius aside from being one of the smartest men that ever lived in general. Stanley was mad salty after the defeat apparently.

That'll be the second remake I think. I never finished the one with Pierce Brosnan but I remember he was giving Renee Russo the business.

The Brosnan remake was good..

I'm just not sure how you pull off a modern take on the film without it losing what worked for the two previous versions.. Or coming off like other films



Like there are a ton of classic films that just flat out don't really work today
