anyone know where to find good but kinda small shoe racks? tried looking in all kinds of stores and cant find any good ones. Need one for my laundry room so i can put my used basketball shoes in it instead of having them lay all over the place.

I use a rack that walmart sells. It is made of fake metal and stacks on top of itself, very modern looking. Rack expands/shrinks horizontally. Each rack has two levels, holds a total of 8-12 basketball shoes, a little more if storing low tops. Looks very clean. PM me if you want pics.

If you want inexpensive but effective, try these from KMart:

Like 8 bucks, even cheaper on sale sometimes. They're not shoe-specific shelves, but they work well and I prefer the solid shelves to the wire ones that shoes can fall off of easily. They are easy to put together and they are stackable, so you can go as high as you want. I went with that 24" wide one for inside my closet, but I'd do the 31 inch if you've got the space (fit more shoes per shelf).

You did say basketball shoes though, and these are kinda short (between shelves). My runners fit perfect though

It'd be worth a shot to check them out at the store and measure, etc.

I bought one from Bed Bath and Beyond (which was the same ones they have at Target), it I thought it personally sucked...It was flimsy and only held like 35 shoes, even though it said it holds 50 pairs....I decided to make my own shoe rack.  I got all the supplies at Home Depot and Lowes...It cost me about $150, but totally worth every penny!!!
