LeBron Haters Call To Arms! (The Haters Unification Thread)

of course he is...lebron is the best after those guys...

and there is no back pedal, and to think vegas odds are determining factor of who has the better team then you guys are a bit mistaken...

vegas odds factor in a plethora of different things on who they promote to win or not...not to mention inflate certain lines to bait betters to make more $$$$

accomplishment?

he quit on the cavs ran to play with arguably the two best players at their respective positions, and came up short twice...

then he ran back to the cavs with a better roster with arguably two of the best players at their positions...love and kyrie...

you are granting GOAT status to someone who has gone to a better situation at every possible chance...

kobe stuck it out through some tough years...he never had another player on his team that was considered the best at his position (no pau, not lamar odom, not andrew bynum)...

you are creating qualifiers for lebron to make it easier to classify him as a great....he is an amazing talent, but you cannot fail at the highest of levels that much and still be crowned GOAT

Pau was arguably the best at his position and you had MWP and a bunch of other great players. Don't tell me Kobe had some scrub teams those years winning two rings. Sure Kobe went through dog years after Shaq left, but Bron had scrub teams too and still made the playoffs every time in his first run with the Cavs. He's not GOAT yet and who knows if he ever will be, but there's still plenty of years left for that to happen where as Kobe is done and we now know he's not GOAT and never will be. That's why Kobe fans will always be salty.

If Pau Gasol was the best at his position

You think would've garnered at least one 1st team All-NBA selection

Yup, revisionist history. Dude made 1 All- Star team before he got to LA. Was 3rd team in 09-10 and didn't even make one in 2008 after getting traded to LA.

So now Pau Gasol is wack but Kevin Love is arguably the best at his position. Does not compute.

Nobody said that, but you can't just throw out best at his position like Dirk, Duncan, KG, and even Boozer were making All NBA teams at that point over Pau. Love was considered one of the best last year before playing with Lebron now. Similarly to how Bosh was viewed before Lebron turned him into an afterthought.

a first round and out type dude.  a great second option   but not a first. dont want him being the best player on your squad.

Pau Gasol 5 time all star and 2 time all NBA second team and 2 time all NBA third team. Kevin Love 3 time all star and 2 time all NBA second team. How is he better again.

And stop using all-star as a reference for how good someone is, ain't nobody trying to vote for anyone that played in memphis or Minnesota

If you meant overall Memphis stats, he was at

18.8
8.6
3.1
21.6 PER

In Memphis, on 51% shooting.

In LA, he was 17.7
9.9
3.5
21.4 PER

On 52% shooting.

Who cares if Lebron is the guy of the post Duncan/Lakers era?

Kobe was the guy of the post Jordan era

And you hate the stuffing out of Kobe, so I don't know why it's relevant

I think Duncan is the guy of the post Jordan era, then Kobe. Right now...Bron is 3rd. I see him passing Kobe, maybe Duncan.

But when people come out and say he's close to or better than a lot of the Legends already, that's when I start hating.

Pau Gasol

Is a 18pts 9rebs 3 Ast avg over the span of his career 13 career but he's tras

You consider this trash?

Le overrated. ***** played the rebuilding Celtics. So will k love be the excuse if he loses or what?

Who here said Pau was trash?

I said that? When? Where?

I simply listed the stats you asked for. Fairly identical between Memphis and LA. Only diff was he started winning playoff games in LA.

Pau lack of awards imo he just got stuck in a golden era for PF's.

3 guys clearly better than him.

Duncan
Garnett
Nowitski

then you guys like Elton Brand, Jermain O'neal who were in the same tier as him but tended to be on better teams. He's still a hall of famer.

also Paus unique blend of skills: passing, shooting, rim protection aren't as in vogue as they are today.

Bosh, Webber and Boozer also made All-NBA teams too over Pau

Thats 8 guys who made All-NBA teams over Pau during his Grizzles tenure

Terribly flawed logic.

Chris Bosh made one all NBA Team in 2007. Not 2008, 2009, or 2010. Those same guys that beat out Pau beat out Bosh. He also palyed in the 'LEastern' Conference and only made the playoffs 2 of 7 years and never won a series. So how exactly was he a more prominent player than Pau? He might have been better (very arguable) but you can't use that criteria when the results are the exact same.
