2024 NIKE SB DUNK THREAD_____GRs and QSs added

No more dunks for me for a while. In my unending quest for the perfect pairs of shoes to wear to Saints games, I blew past what I wanted to spend this month this morning on Non SB shoes

But I can't really complain, I'm not likely to run into many other people with these on since there isn't even any buzz about them here.

SB wear for the day, I started off this morning in my B Grade Acorn AF1s, and then the glue came loose and they started to talk from the side, so I came home and switched into these at lunch. A rather beat pair. These have been in the mud at Lollapalooza, Voodoo Music Experience, and quite a few times out in the rain.

Those look clean! Nice pick up, man.

Yo,

Got a pair of the AJxSB1 from the local on release luckily, thankfully have both Royals and Black/Reds but those white ones....

Must hold back but damn, damn, daaamn and I never ever do mismatched.

No. Bao's are still considered a regular GR. From what we've heard, the shipments at Nike Warehouse were messed up and late so most places aren't getting their full shipment until sometime this week. Once next week rolls around, we should see GR numbers at most shops that carry SB.
thanks for the info man.

Does anyone know when nike SB highs started being produced with the slimmer shoe profile and thinner sole? Did it start with the dark blue box or the brown/black tape box?

Just Got Off The Phone Yet Again With My Local And It Sounds Like Shops In The Area Are Starting To Finally Receive Their Pairs Of Bao's.... The Owner Is Gonna Pull My Size 10 Aside As Soon As They Get Off The Truck And Give Me A Ring To Come Get Them 8)

Might Be Able To Throw An Oop Or Two To Members Here Still In Need :nthat:

What's with their ig saying the lookout, but the number brings up black list boardshop?

You rarely see "in-store only" for GR's.

Any source besides sneaker blogs - who simply copy and paste - actually confirm a general release?

If spots are releasing Boa's instore only on weekdays without notice and sellin out in a few hours they probably didn't get that many pairs.

Oh and before someone quotes this and mentions "hype", I haven't heard one person outside of this thread mention anything about these shoes.

It was recently stated again by a worker for a skate shop in this thread who obtained the info from their nike rep. There was an inventory mishap that had 1/2 of the shoes not arriving at nike until 4/08 and they were supposed to be shipped by yesterday. So they should start reaching the big accounts soon.

The retooled Dunks started shipping in January of 2011, in the Royal Blue Box era. From what I remember Koston coming over to the team and his ideas on what to do for making the shoe more skater friendly led to the retool, there were some half starts prior to that with the thin tongue, and adding the heel/ankle pods on the low, but it was in 2011 that things got really rolling.

There was even a special promo book that shops got.

(I still want one of those)

lance was one of my favorite skaters in the 80s. i had a few of his boards growing up. can't wait for these to drop. i used to skate in jordans back then as well.
it's the same with me. I want these because Lance helped with the design. I had a board of his growing up.

I kind of want a pair of hacky sacks, but not a dunk, maybe a Koston or a Janoski. Spread the love among the brand a bit.

I got one of those books a few years back.  Someone told me only 100 were produced but I don't buy that.  The content in the book really isn't very noteworthy but it's a great item to have to accompany my kicks.
