Wow....memories!!!! I'd kill for those black joints in a low. I remember being in Europe in the summer of '92 trying to find those and struck out everywhere. They had every other possible colorway there though.

Fila needs to start releasing the Cages and FX100 in Europe -I have to pay double because of the shipping costs from the US
@TRIFE, The black white and white black were two of the must haves! I remember back in the day i had the white with black midsoles heres some of the original ad's and Martin Lawrence rocking the classics hosting Def Comedy Jam. They could do the FX-100 in so many colorways and it just works, looks classy and different. Can't really put my finger on why I love this shoe so much more than the Air Force 1 but the silhouette IMO just looks better.

Thx man. Yeah I have a whole stack of Champion gear, the brand might have dropped out of favor for some, but I've pretty much just carried on rocking them since the '90s.
T-shirt/hoodie -Jeans/sweats -kicks ...my fashion style hasn't really changed for the past 20 yrs or so

Fire have you checked out packer shoes? Not sure if they ship internationally but they still have some of the FX's been loviiiiiiiiiing my pair, broke them out again for today

Yeah I got the Cages from Packer, but the shipping cost wasn't far off the same as the shoes.
I'll probably just be patient and wait a while for the FXs -That's what I did with the Omni Zones and ended getting them for 50 Euros.

Alright, I just ordered my retro Fila FX-100 in the White/Black colourway and upon inspection, I'm very disappointed
The first thing I noticed was the weight. The OG's were noticeably heavier than these retros.
Then I looked at the uppers: the leather - if you wanna call it that - is very, very, VERY thin.
But the worse are the soles:
- The OG's and even the retros a few years back used solid rubber and the soles were stitched to the uppers. On these? only the red parts look and feel like rubber, the rest (black part) of the soles look and feel like...plastic.
- The soles are only glued to the uppers (no stitching all around the midsole like the OG's/first retros)
- The sole overall is thinner (the OG's/first retros were thicker).
That said: I'd give them a 3/10. Okay for nostalgia, but cop on the serious discount if you can.

just copped the FX 100 in the white/black colorway for like 48$ and some change with a promo code. Had this same colorway when I was a kid. Now only if I can ever find the Grant Hill 2 (1996)
